I know ToppsNow is not everyone cup of tea, but it’s growing on me - it’s like buying singles, due to being able to choose which ones you want; but with the dopamine hit of a possible hit.

I scored a bunch of /25s in my previous orders, and today got a /10 of Dylan’s one hitter in SF.

Probably won’t get every Blue Jay ToppsNow due to the extra cost associated; and I’ve ordered a few from eBay where I know I’m just getting the base version, but for big events I really like, it’s worked out pretty cool.

Technically it started with my pickup of a 1969 Gibson, but this pickup has me really really excited. Put together a list of one player (HOF) per year from 1950-1969, making sure every position was represented, and hopefully balanced out, with my aesthetic preferences built in. Included companies of Topps, Bowman and one Fleer.

This Reese pickup was the start of checking things off the list.

Will have to be mostly SGC 1-3s, and no Mantle or Robinson (😭😭) for I am but a humble peasant haha.

Grabbed his auto at Bisons Autograph Day, right before his call up. Luckily grabbed his 1st bowman before the Canada Day explosion! Been fun watching him in the show.

Celebrated by picking up three more of the 1977 Blue Jays for my team set.

Still not my cup of tea, but the On Field Hats for the All Star game are much more subtle (for all the teams) according to the New Era site. The Blue Jays have some historical things on the underside it looks like, written in script (Declaration of Independence style) but it appears to be custom info to the team, but its hard to see.

lol, those hideous red and white ones with the stars are just "online exclusive" ie "fashion" for those with no eyesight.

I’ll be hunting this as the only Chrome I’m interested in this year. Probably can’t afford what one will go for, but it’s worth a shot!

Being in Ontario, sometimes it’s just easier for availability and price on eBay to pickup and have it delivered to family in the Northeast. So this really isn’t all one day, but some vintage I picked up from January to now. Just had a visit and picked up my haul. Pretty excited! Obviously a theme going on here. 😆
