I was just curious if anybody has seen their boxset scanned my UPS yet? Deepsea posted on the 3rd that it was going to ship early the following week, but that was a week ago. I received my tracking number the day they made the post but it's sat at label created ever since and just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one. It has been a long time coming and I am excited for this box set!
Thought I was lucky finding this record at the thrift store and was surprised by how warped it is, especially considering it still has the folder and sleeve. I’m thinking of finding a way to mount it on my wall as it’s a bit mesmerizing.
First time buying from this seller and they’ve got great inventory. Testing the vinyl now and it seems to be in good shape. Not wanting to make a fuss to am independent business, but the sleeve is pretty smashed in one corner. Bother saying anything?
I was at a local record store and found what looks like a 1969 pressing of In the Court of the Crimson King for $6! I haven't had a chance to play the record yet but it looks pretty scratched up, but even if it doesn't play that well I'm stoked to have the original artwork. I've wanted a copy of this album since I started collecting, and I think this is probably the coolest way to finally get it!

Our vehicle has what is affectionately known as the soap dish on the dashboard. So I decided to make a little seasonal display of my wife and I. Looking forward to fall.
Basically the title. I ordered the Geto Boys reissue, snagged 2 copies to hold onto the extra for a rainy day. They just came in and one of them is numbered literally “XXX/500”. The other one is “228/500” so I know they’re not all labeled generically as XXX/500.
I’ve never seen this before and spent the last 30 minutes trying all different kinds of searches, various verbiage, etc. Couldn’t find anything, not even a picture of someone else that’s received a record numbered this way. Maybe I’m being stupid and not searching the right thing? Who knows
Anyhow, thought it was kinda neat and was curious if anyone else has ever received a record like this or knows what the deal is. I don’t think it’s anything crazy special or anything, just something different I hadn’t seen before.

I am An idiot and about a month ago I changed the stylus on my EPC-U25 which is mounted on my SL-D212 and yesterday I realized that I had inserted it incorrectly and it was at an angle pointing down as if doing a nose dive and was not fully inserted.
My question is could I
A: have damaged it by this
B: Have damaged the cartridge body by doing this

Fixing it fixed up the Distortion I was hearing but I noticed still some staticness and looking under my microscope I realized it was very dirty as I guess the angle it was at caused it to reach deeper into the grooves than Normal and pick up lots of junk.
After cleaning it sounds much better but it still has me worried. I did test a few songs on records I know like the back of my hand and it seemed fine but still I worry
This is only the second time I've changed the stylus on this cartridge but the cartridge and table have been in my family since 1981.
I thought I would come here to the experts.
Hi folks, I was setting up my new AT-LP3XBT and during the process of balancing the tonearm with the counterweight I’m afraid to admit I dropped the stylus onto the felt mat a number of times.
Being an amateur I hadn’t appreciated how delicate these are. Reading the AT information on this afterwards — where they stress the fragility of the stylus — has me worried I’ve already damaged it.
If anyone can allay (or confirm) these concerns I’d be extremely grateful! I have played a couple records since and can’t notice any issues but I’m no expert.
Idk man, it still just seems off to me, im happy with the player, speakers ect, but I feel like my setup is still sloppy. I was thinking of getting a slipmat so my more clear records can look better(if anyone has color suggestions to make them pop and look as good as possible)
Just got to Downtown Disney and found the Main Street set built right when you walk in. I really like it but seeing it in person really shows how overpriced it is.
Could easily fit 2 maybe 3 more songs on this records. it's a 2 LP vinyl but could easily be 1.
