Kids Club / Child Care at Onelife

I wish the website gave more information. I don't want to have to book in person to get any details, and I figured this would be a less salesy place to get info anyway. If you use the child care at Onelife, can you please tell me:

- what do you pay per month?

- are there waitlists that are hard to squeeze into?

- I'm assuming they don't change diapers? This is my preference.

- Is there always more than one watcher at a time, or is there sometimes only one adult?

- If my daughter gets very upset, will they call me? I would rather have my workout interrupted if she is upset for longer than the few minutes it takes her to get used to the location change/me not being right there.

Feeling overwhelmed trying to replace my iPhone camera 😅

I’m not a photographer and I have zero experience with cameras outside of my iPhone. But I got rid of my iPhone for a cheap flip phone. I’m trying to find something to replace it that’s easy to travel with, easy for a total newbie to set up and use, that I don’t need a smartphone app to edit on (I have a Mac laptop currently that I can use). I want something I can take good photos on, I like the idea of the fujifilm digital cameras for the film effects. But I also want something that’s good for taking videos/vlogging as well. I’m not some known creator/youtuber/tiktoker and never will be so I don’t need like super top of the line equipment but I want better quality than the cheapie $200 or under digital cameras I get ads for on TikTok. I’m hoping to find a decent option between $500-1k but could stretch to under 2k with a bit more time to save if it is TRULY worth it.

I’m tempted to order the Insta 360 go ultra as I like that it’s compact and easy to mount around etc, but I’m nervous the quality isn’t going to be something I’m satisfied with for long. So I figured before impulse buying this I’d see if anyone has suggestions for something that suits what I’m looking for 🫶🏻💛

Digi Camera, but for videos (under 10 mins)

I miss making silly TikTok videos or recording my toddler. I’ve seen a few suggestions of digital cameras for photos, like how fujifilm digital cams have a cool film look to them. But the posts never mention video for these devices. Does anyone know if one of these would be suitable for taking videos, too? I’m pretty tech illiterate so apologies if this is a dumb question. I do want one device for photos and videos.

O Ring Check!

Friendly reminder to check that your O-rings aren't slipping out of place, from someone whose stretching progress was slowed by my O-rings always slipping off, lol. You'd think I'd have smartened up and bought a baggie of extras by now, so maybe I will do that today.

Reptile breeder + resources suggestions wanted <3

Hello, I’m looking into getting a snake and would like to support a ethical breeder locally. I find google isn’t the best for small businesses so figured I’d ask here:) I’d also love suggestions on places to shop for their food and supplies like setting up their enclosure. I’ll probably head over to a snake/reptile subreddit to ask there too, and to learn more about their care before purchasing buuuut if you have a fav blog/youtube/account to follow I’d love that, too! Thanks:)

Kidstrong - membership cost?

I’m interested in the early walker membership at kidstrong going once a week. I reached out to get more information but all they do is try to get me to sign up for the trial class and ignore the question of the membership cost. I’m not going to bother with the trial class if I don’t know if this will fit in my budget. Does anyone do the early walker/under 2 membership and would you mind telling me what you pay? Tia!

Any suggestions on where to get leather / high quality vegan leather to make my own belt?

Looking to start a diy project to fill a gap in my wardrobe. I’m really wanting something high quality to work with that will last a while, either leather or vegan leather. I’d rather not support Amazon. Any suggestions on where I can order? I struck out at the thrift to see about using a premade belt and I think it would be nice to get to diy it from scratch anyways. TIA 🖤

did anyone get lipo done halfway to goal weight and was happy you did, or did you regret it?

I see so many people say to wait to get lipo until close to goal weight, did anyone get is done halfway to goal weight and was happy you did, or did you regret it?

I’ve been pretty serious about getting into a healthy lifestyle. I workout 5x a week, I eat a lot better, and I’m now moving my body throughout the day, not just for my workout (used to work a desk job, now I’m a toddler mom who tries to stay moving during the day)

Weight loss has been slow, but it is happening. I’m already a mom in my 30s and I feel so fucking ugly. I don’t want to spend anymore time feeling embarrassed to be seen or feeling horrible in my body. I love fashion and wish to be a designer but lately I just want to hide under oversized tshirts

Garden Journal Pages

I have been feeling a bit overwhelmed by my first attempts at gardening, but the journals I was seeing also seemed overwhelming. So I decided to whip up two simple sheets to help me while I learn + grow. I figured I would share here for anyone else who has been feeling the same. I'm not exactly skilled in design, but I feel the info I have included will be helpful. I plan to put the monthly one in a plastic sheet next to my wall calendar to use a dry-erase marker on. The plant profile page I plan to fill out for every plant I currently have planted and make more as I add on to be the start of my own gardening journal. Link to the sheets on canva

All of the recipe suggestions I’m seeing for insulin resistance issues don’t seem to have energy sources/carbs. They seem to only be protein, fiber, and fat. What replacements are y’all relying on or what meals are you having that help give you energy for tasks such as a workout or yard work? Is there a pasta replacement that doesn’t taste like cardboard? I’m even willing to homemake versions of things if anyone can lead me to recipes that will help with carbs/energy. Or if you have recipe suggestions that are bean/legume heavy I’d appreciate if you shared, beans don’t seem to be giving me crashes but I’m def in need of more ideas to help incorporate them. I know everyone is different on what they can tolerate but I would really appreciate ideas to try and see what works for me. Meal planning has been such a challenge with this.

Movement after carbs still seems to be leading to crashes for me.

I’m wanting to make myself a swimsuit that’s a bit more coverage but still a bit “flirty” if that makes sense? I’m only seeing patterns with a front seam though and I find those so uncomfortable. I’m a beginner so I’d really rather follow a pattern vs trying to make my own and I don’t have any shorts to trace anyways. Plus I have limited craft time. Thank you!
