how long until i should be concerned that my order had not shipped?

i bought something from a seller with good reviews on august 1st with as estimated delivery of august 10-12 and it's now august 17th with the status just on "shipping label created" and no other info. i dont want to message them because i dont want to come off rude or impatient. should i wait another week or so or is this concerning now?

i am constantly seeking stimulation and dopamine

i have hobbies and interests but i often feel like it's NOT enough. like i can't just sit down and enjoy a youtube video because it's not enough. drawing usually helps because it takes my full attention, but i have to be watching something also. ive thought about maybe picking up another creative hobby because i dont feel satisfied with just doing one thing at a time. i feel depressed and bored at certain points of my day, and i really hate the feeling, so i want to try and combat that with more stimulating hobbies. what do you guys enjoy to combat these feelings?

im alone

28 f. i broke up with my toxic friend group of 2 years and it ended with me being blocked. they were the only friends i had, but i reached my breaking point. despite knowing the friendships were not good for me, i am carrying an immense amount of guilt and despair. i can't sleep, i can't stop thinking about what happened. i feel like on the edge of a panic attack, like i buried myself in a hole and im suffocating.

maybe this is dramatic, but i feel completely traumatized by what happened. i just want to stop thinking about it. i feel thoughts resurfacing that i have not felt in years, dark and horrible thoughts. nothing lasts for me, nobody stays. i am better off alone. i did this to myself, i should have just endured it.

there is nothing now. no messages, no calls. just empty silence. no one to reach out to.

i (kind of) ended things with my friend group and i cant stop crying

i have a 3 person online friend group including myself. recently, ive grown fed up with them always choosing what we do. i feel like hanging out is an obligation and its not fun for me anymore. i feel like our personalities clash. and i sent long messages being honest about it.

this hurt them a lot, understandably. when they asked if i still wanted to be their friend i said "i dont know" but truthfully, my answer is no. they asked if they can do anything to fix it but after countless conversations about it i dont think they can fix it anymore.

i feel an incredible amount of guilt. i feel like im throwing away a good friendship. i feel like the worst person in the world. i feel so alone.

if someone offers to fix things and i dont want to... am i the bad person here? i truly feel like i am.

autism and migraines

i have chronic headaches and migraines, specifically tension headaches and i was curious who else gets them too? i have a tension headache almost every single day and i am light sensitive so i wear glasses for it. (i'm also very sensitive to screens but i am not willing to give up my precious screen time) and i'm sensitive to certain smells that can also give me a migraine

boy oh boy am i struggling

so yeah, i've always had the "can't enjoy things normally" issue.

right now i am struggling really bad. i like things a lot, i guess psychological horror is what i'm deep into it right now? i love fnaf, poppy playtime, the backrooms (just saw the new movie) and the amazing digital circus a lot. i really like the aesthetic of these kinds of horror. i'm obsessed.

i like things way too deeply. like, i bury myself in it. i get in these moods where i get brain foggy and just obsess over things and it fills me with this sort of melancholy i can't explain, but it also makes me so happy like i'm on a high.

i want to spend all my money on merch, and just devote my life to it. i don't feel like a responsible adult, i feel like a child with adult money.

and then, if i lose interest for a little bit i feel miserable. like some sort of empty blob. it's like it gives my life meaning. i don't think this is something that makes me a bad person, or that i necessarily need to change it (other than the money spending aspect) because honestly, i think being passionate about things is the coolest part of being autistic, HOWEVER, it's also one of the many parts that makes me feel like an alien walking around trying to hard to be normal.

i try so hard to mask these parts of me. sometimes feels like i'm living a double life. god, i'm such a mess honestly.

rant over.

any other adults with autism feeling self conscious?

so, this surely has to be a common issue in autistic adults, but i feel so embarrassed to be myself.

my hobbies, my toys, my personality. it's all very "childish." i'm 28 years old and i am obsessed with pink and colorful things, i love to collect toys and plushies and i play roblox in my free time. i don't really find many adults with my interests (sure, people like things but not to my severe degree) and i honestly get so much backlash from my family about how i am "the weird pink girl" and me and my 13 year old niece have more in common than i do with any other adults around me.

i dont have any friends outside of online and i just feel like i cannot relate to anyone around me, coworkers for example. i want to clarify that i don't INTERACT with children, i just enjoy the same things they do? and i do not think it's an age regression thing.

i'm not the most social person so i'm not exactly looking for more friends, but i would like to stop feeling so ashamed of myself.

bad taste in my mouth

i brush twice a day, use a tongue scraper and mouth wash (i do tend to be lazy about flossing) and ive had this horrible taste in my mouth for a couple weeks. i have been known to get tonsil stones but they never made my mouth have this taste. i know the obvious answer is to just go to the dentist, but i am curious what people think it could be and what i can do in the mean time to get rid of this taste.

another tension headache migraine...

im posting on here with another migraine. on day 5. i will say, i think it's slowly getting better but honestly the worst part for me is just wanting to live my god damn life again and not be stuck to my bed. probably shouldn't be on my computer but boredom is eating me alive.

symptoms are head pain that feels like a tight band around my skull, body aches, fatigue and just feeling overall really heavy and almost like i have the flu.

so, i'm honestly wondering what the hell you guys do to not go insane. i feel like as the days go on i'm getting more and more frustrated. not to mention every little thing irritates me and i know anger is the last thing i need right now.

how can i try to stay positive and just ride it out?
