Hi!! I’m looking for other weird girls in Victoria. I have lived here since 2018 but have only made one really good friend and I’m looking to expand my circle.

I am a huge lover of old Barbie movies and dolls. I don’t collect the dolls because I’m afraid that would be the beginning of a very slippery slope into hoarding, but I do collect the movies. I also love Nintendo games and have an extensive Wii game collection + a homebrewed Wii. My favourite Wii games are Super Mario Galaxy 2 (peak Mario), homebrew Rock Band (basically any song you could ever want), and Just Dance 2, 3, 4, and 2014 specifically. Oh and Wii Party.

I also like Baldur’s Gate and medieval fantasy things in general, including ren faires, and I just started playing Skyrim. So that’s where I’m at right now. I will be going to the renfaire in town this August.

I love fitness and go to the gym 4–6 times a week to weightlift, but I’m not really looking for a gym buddy because I like to be completely locked into my workout tbh. I do love hiking, although I’m not great with super long hikes.

I collect vintage clothing, but I don’t really like going to the vintage stores in town because I feel like they all carry the same kind of stuff, which unfortunately is not the kind of stuff I’m looking for. I love thrifting, garage sales, and estate sales, though.

I also have a lot of hobbies. I draw, paint, sew, embroider, cross-stitch, do paper crafts, wood burning, gift wrapping, and upcycling. I’d love to get into pottery, quilting, papier-mâché, and woodcarving too. Basically, if there is some kind of craft that requires me to accumulate an unreasonable amount of supplies, I am interested.

I’m also an experienced baker, and some people have told me I make the best cinnamon rolls and cookies. I love making birthday cakes for my friends. I’m also a very experienced cook and I LOVE FEEDING PEOPLE DINNER!!!!!
I love cats and dogs and bees and birds and squirrels and raccoons and basically all other creatures.

My favorite shows are ATLA (the original animated version), Adventure Time, Better Call Saul, House MD, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

My favorite movies are Matilda, Across the Spider-Verse, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Kill Bill Vol. 1, The Favorite, War for the Planet of the Apes, Paddington, Dune pt 2, Captain America the First Avenger, 21 Jump Street, Megamind, Borat, Do The Right Thing, Shrek 2

Typing all of this out is making me feel like I actually don’t sound that weird, but I have had a lot of trouble forming friendships since middle school. I’m pretty quiet around new people at first, and then eventually I start making stupid chronically online jokes. I also sometimes play Roblox and Club Penguin Journey. I don’t like talking about politics. I love the smell of Michael’s craft store. Oh, and I love Halloween and Christmas.

** edit: I forgot to mention I don’t drink (maybe only on Halloween) and I don’t go to clubs. I have never been interested in nightlife. I don’t smoke and I might only have a 2.5mg edible a few times a year but that’s it.

Did anyone else play oldcp.biz before the official club penguin was shut down?

I used to go on a site called OldCP.biz or something like that and it was basically a copycat of the much older version of the game with added original content by the people who made it. There was a lot of game of thrones themed stuff, secret rooms, and instead of buying items you could just type /addall and have instant items in your inventory. You could also teleport to cool rooms whenever, like typing jr/stark would bring you to the avengers tower lol. The community was so active and tight knit and I made a lot of friends on it in 2015 ish. Wondering if anyone else played this version?
