Circular Polarizer

I'm curious to know if anybody just leaves their polarizer filter on all of the time along with a UV filter? I've always kept the UV filter on but I started leaving the polarizer on, too. It blocks some of the light but the camera compensates. I'm trying to figure out if I'm being stupid by doing this.

Does anyone have/use this lens? I've just bought it and am looking forward to checking it out.

OM System 50-200 f2.8

I already own the 40-150 f2.8. Is it really worth the money to upgrade (I would sell the 40-150 to offset some of the cost)? Also, I have the 100-400 f5-6.3. Should I also sell the 100-400 and use 2x teleconverter on the 50-200 which becomes f5.6? I’m having a hard time deciding if the upgrade is worth it and wonder what others think. What am I missing?

What to do?!?

I currently own the 100-400 mkii and I love it. I have the opportunity to get a good deal on the 150-600. I would have to sell the 100-400 to make it happen but not sure if it’s worth it. Also, the 300 Pro is an option but think I prefer the longer reach of the other two. What would you do?

I’m going whale watching on a boat next month. I’m taking my OM-3 and some lenses (all splash proof). Is there anything I need to do differently since I’ll be in salt water? I’ve had my gear in the rain plenty of times but never around salt water. I’ll be sure to wipe any spray off afterwards and see lol have a dry bag with me for transporting the gear. Anything else I should do to make sure I don’t regret this afterwards?

He was well-hidden. It was really tough to see him much less get a decent photo! His eye freak me out - it looks like human eyes in an owl mask.
