Parking Question
maybe this is a stupid question, but i've never had to buy a parking permit and I assume the date to buy these is coming up soon.
Does anyone know if you buy a parking permit, will it will let you change the license plate after you purchase it?
i forgot how good this was
I'll admit, now that I'm older, looking back at some of the Disney Channel movies, the dialogue was sometimes cringey, but the dancing? SO GOOD

new to deadlift
155 lbs/ 70kg, I’m relatively new to lifting so any advice would be appreciated. I especially think my back looks weird on the way up.
Edit: Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who’s commented so far. This is my first time posting in this sub, and everyone has been incredibly kind and helpful. 🫡
I’m definitely going to put a lot of these suggestions into practice. Appreciate all of you!
I'm so tired of dressing around my body
I know this is going to sound ridiculous to some people, but I genuinely hate having a big butt.
Not because I think it's ugly. Not because I want a different body. I'm just exhausted by how difficult it makes getting dressed.
I especially hate it in professional settings. I feel like I can't wear anything remotely form-fitting without looking like I'm trying to make some kind of statement. A pair of slacks, a pencil skirt, a fitted dress, even some jeans, on someone else it looks normal. On me it feels like the first thing people notice.
And before anyone says "just wear looser clothes," that's basically what I've done for years. But then I end up feeling frumpy, uncomfortable, or like I'm hiding myself just to avoid being perceived.
The thing that drives me crazy is that I don't feel like my clothes are actually that revealing. My body just fills them out differently. It feels like I have to work twice as hard to look "appropriate" or "professional" because certain body types get judged differently.
Sometimes I wish I could put on a normal pair of pants and not spend the entire day wondering whether I look ridiculous.
The evil eye is real
I’ll be honest and say I’m not really into things like religion or astrology. I know about them to some extent, but I’ve never been someone who fully believes in that kind of stuff. That said, I genuinely think the “evil eye” might be real, and here’s why.
During my junior year of high school, I had gained a lot of weight. At my heaviest, I was probably around 220 lbs, and I started having back issues because of it. Eventually, I decided I was going to lose the weight, and I did. I got down to around 165 lbs and I looked skinny.
I also almost never get sick. Maybe once a year I’ll catch a common cold, but I had never gotten seriously sick before this.
Then came one specific week where everything important was happening. I was supposed to attend an award ceremony to receive an award, be inducted into National Honor Society, perform at an event, and I was also getting ready to take a trip to Puerto Rico.
So what are the odds that literally the day before my award ceremony, I suddenly get violently sick?
I started vomiting nonstop. And I mean nonstop. Sorry for being graphic, but it got so bad that I couldn’t even get off the bathroom floor. I spent about 15 hours throwing up, probably every 30 minutes, until eventually there was nothing left to throw up. I was so weak I could barely move, and I had a headache that lingered for a week because of how dehydrated I got. In just one day, I lost 12 pounds.
Moral of the story, the evil eye is real, I don't care what people say. Just a warning to be careful out there.
what are some good nicer/fancier brunch places?
this year my mom's birthday and father's day fall on the same day, so I need some recommendations. Willing to drive 1.5hr in any direction from jersey city.
the entrance to the turnpike…
My number one pet peeve has to be that I-78 entrance. Between the roundabout that nobody seems to know how to use and people trying to get onto I-78 West taking up EVERY SINGLE toll lane… how is anyone supposed to get to east going to 14B and C if every toll lane is blocked with people trying to go west. The traffic in the area is only getting worse with the years. I wonder if there is some way to make it more efficient.
How to construct a MO diagram of [Mo2Cl8]^-4, using the reduced symmetry method
Me and my classmate are trying to figure out this problem before finals. We vaguely remember that if the metal–metal bond is stronger than the Mo–Cl interactions, you’re supposed to build the MO diagram for the two metals first, but we aren't even sure if that's how you would approach. Any help would be appreciated.
Need help finding a tricep track. I’ll be honest, I think the release is an older one, but it’s got some tricep pushups followed by a plank walk, into more tricep pushups. I think there are also overhead extensions but there is definitely a round of skull crushers. The song has like a strong bases.
bruh, second day in a row for the suites. it would be nice to shower, not in the dark.
