What made you fall for your partner more?

What’s one thing your partner did that made you love them a little more and genuinely think, “Yeah, they’re the one for me”?

I’m not necessarily talking about huge romantic gestures, expensive gifts, surprise trips, or anything straight out of a movie. Sometimes it’s the smallest, most ordinary things that make you realize how much someone means to you.

Maybe it was the way they stayed beside you when you were having a terrible day. Maybe they remembered something tiny you mentioned months ago. Maybe they noticed you were uncomfortable in a room and quietly checked on you without making it obvious. Maybe they supported one of your dreams even when it had nothing to do with them. Or maybe it was simply the way they made you feel completely comfortable being yourself.

I feel like those little moments can tell you more about a person than grand gestures ever could. The moments where you suddenly realize, “I feel safe with this person,” or “They really understand me,” or even just “I want this person around for a very, very long time.”

So, what was that moment for you?

What did your partner do that made you look at them and think, “This is my person.”

Not necessarily a grand gesture , even a tiny moment that made you see them differently counts.

Why is it so hard to tell someone you're not interested instead of ghosting them?

If you don't want to talk to someone anymore, why not just tell them? If you're worried that saying it might hurt their feelings, wouldn't suddenly disappearing without any explanation hurt even more?

Do people ghost because they genuinely think it's kinder, or because they just don't want the uncomfortable conversation?

I'm specifically talking about situations where you've been having a normal, respectful conversation with someone and there's no harassment, creepiness, or anything uncomfortable. If you lose interest in talking to them, why not just say so?

I met someone on reddit and he sudden disappeared. I just want to know if he's okay

I met this guy through the Make New Friends community, and we ended up talking every single day despite being in completely different time zones. He's 27 from London, works in tech, goes to the gym, is into sports, reads philosophical books, and watches TV shows. We got pretty comfortable with each other in that short time, talked about our days, joked around, and just had normal conversations.

Last weekend, he texted me saying he was going out with his friends. He actually went out, and later he texted me saying his plans were done and even asked me how I was doing.

That's the last message I got from him.

At first, I thought maybe he was busy with work, friends, or something else. I didn't think much of it. But as the hours or days went by, my anxiety started getting louder, ''Is he okay? Where did he go? Did something happen?''

I know some of you are probably going to say, “It's only been a week. Why are you trying so hard to find someone you barely know?”

And honestly, I get it. We only knew each other for a week. I don't even know his real name or any personal details about him. But we spoke every single day during that week, and I became comfortable talking to him. So when someone who's normally active suddenly disappears without a word, of course I'm going to wonder if he's okay.

I'm not looking for some dramatic explanation or expecting him to come back and continue talking to me. At this point, I genuinely just want to know that he's fine.

I want to make one thing clear before anyone assumes otherwise, I don't think he abandoned me or ghosted me, and I'm not making this post to paint him as a bad person. I genuinely don't know what happened. That's actually why I'm posting this.

Maybe I'm overthinking. Maybe something happened to his Reddit account. Maybe he's just busy. I really don't know.

I just wish I knew what happened.

If this sounds familiar to anyone, please DM me rather than sharing anyone's personal information publicly.

Why do people share everything on reddit???

why do people come to Reddit and tell complete strangers every little detail about their relationship and then ask for opinions, instead of just talking to their partner and trying to sort things out between themselves?

I understand asking for advice when you're genuinely stuck or need an outside perspective, but sometimes I see posts where people haven't even tried communicating with their partner, yet they've already written a whole essay on Reddit asking strangers what they should do.

If you love them, why not talk to them instead of asking strangers to judge them?
