Bug? (MediaAPI.Views.RelatedVideos6

Was just scrolling through Apple Music and this showed up below an album. Is this just a software bug or is there a bigger issue at hand? Thanks!

Now Spinning: Music - Madonna (2000)

Got this for super cheap on eBay ($21 to be exact). I was a little hesitant to purchase this pressing because I’ve heard it doesn’t sound good (it is a CD cut). This pressing sounds great on my set up! Nice deep bass and great clarity.

$1-2 each at Ohio Thrift

Got to these before the local antique store owner did. Lucky me! Boston is an 82 EU pressing, everything else is OG.

Thrift Store Haul

Paid $1-2 for each item. Boston is an 82 EU press, the rest are all original. I already own Diamond Life, but I can’t pass up Sade ever. These must’ve been sitting at the store for weeks because they all have dates from the last month and a half. They had a crap ton more that I wasn’t interested in but sort of regret not buying haha

Haul from the thrift store.

Hi everyone. Today I went to a thrift store that I never go to (they have crazy pricing that is all over the place). They recently put out a big box of cassettes for $1 each, along with loads of records and CDs for the same price. These are the ones I picked up. So excited about TFF and The Sundays.

J&TH Synergy Before/After

Salutations members of the Dolls subreddit. I recently rediscovered a Synergy doll I bought forever ago from an auction house. I decided today I would tackle fixing her up. Not shockingly, it took half a bottle of conditioner to get her hair detangled, and it still feels dry after…. 😶‍🌫️ I might try boil-washing her hair since I don’t want to use a flat-iron anywhere near her tinsel. Also excuse the patchy arms and legs. (Instead of making purple arms, Hasbro just decided to dye regular Jem limbs purple and over time the dye would start to come off, leaving a patchy appearance) Anyways she certainly looks a lot better now!

Anita Baker - Rapture

Hello fellow RNB vinyl collectors. I was able to spin the copy of Rapture I got a couple days ago. Even though the jacket has some obvious signs of wear, the disc is in immaculate condition, possibly even unplayed. The second photo was how the disc looked as soon as I pulled it out of the jacket. Now I’m torn! Do I keep my shrinked copy or this one, or keep both???

Cassettes found a new home….

… in the garbage. I bought 3 tapes at Goodwill a couple days ago and just left them in my (climate controlled) room without even thinking to check. Tonight I decided I’d reorganize my tapes and also check out the 3 tapes I just got. Opened the first one and it was alright. Smelled a little musty but that’s to be expected with paper that is pushing 40 years old. I opened the other 2 and to my horror; mold GALORE! They also smelled like Satan unleashed a wrath on Santa Claus. I immediately binned them but got pictures before I did. Do you guys think the rest of my tapes will be alright? I checked the surrounding tapes and didn’t see anything.

Don’t forget about the visualizers!

Mariah has obviously released the highly anticipated 30th anniversary edition of Daydream. Alongside it, she released visualizers for the tracks which feature rare footage. Love these moments!

Won the war against resellers!

Thank god for Liron confirming they dropped at midnight!

$4 later… a haul.

Got all of these for $4 (together) on a local auction site. Compositions had red ink on the cover, but it came off easily with some isopropyl alcohol. Happy spinning!

FURBY UPDATE

Hey guys! I posted recently that I got my first Furby in many years. Today I decided to take her out of the box and put some batteries in her. I knew she was used previously, so I had to clean off the smallest bit of corrosion on her battery terminals. That didn’t do anything, so I put a small flathead screwdriver in the top of her beak and spun the small gear on the left side and she showed signs of life! Some good news often comes with bad news, and Cindy Marshmallow Fluffson is no exclusion. She unfortunately has MSA and a potentially blown speaker (no noise). I’m going to leave her in the box for now until I get the courage to repair her, but she still looks cute on my shelf!

Hand-me-down Furby

I am new to this sub-reddit, and also new to collecting Furby. I’ve owned quite a few of them over the years (my first was a yellow/black striped one from the late 90s) but this is the first time I’ve gotten one with its original box (and it even has the original price tag—$29.99 at Toys R Us!). The best part is that I paid $0 for this as it was given to me by my grandma. I’m wondering what I should name it! I was thinking Fluff (as in Marshmallow Fluff) or Meatball?

Is this mold, dirt, or both?

I know this is probably the billionth post involving AC/HVAC, but I’m a little concerned. Today I was moving rooms in the house (I live in Ohio, USA) and decided to take a peak at the window AC unit with a flashlight. To my horror I saw all this brownish gunk and some spotting all over. It is a GE AHLE06CAQ1. I immediately shut the AC off, took the filter out (it was caked in dust and dog hair) and scrubbed it with hot water and soap. I then put some vinegar on everything I could reach. After letting it sit for about 20 minutes I wiped all of the vinegar off and it looks much cleaner now. I checked every crack and crevice of this room and there doesn’t seem to be any signs of mold growth, and I also haven’t had any worrying symptoms. The video attached was the state the AC was in when I first looked at it.

Got my Roku connected to my TV !

I purchased a cheap HDMI to Composite converter off of Amazon during Prime Day and was finally able to get my Roku connected to the TV. Funny story: when I first connected the Roku, there were a bunch of lines and weird artifacts on the screen. I then realized my VCR was right next to the TV and quickly moved it away and the lines and such disappeared in a snap. Anyways I’m very excited to watch old Top of the Pops broadcasts on my tiny TV :)

How does my Nagaoka MP110h look?

I’ve been using the MP110h for quite a while now (since late December) on my Pioneer PLX500K. No complaints in terms of sound quality (besides on some hot-cut 80s albums… the distortion, yowzah) but I feel like it’s riding too low and maybe the VTA is off? I’ll attach some photos and let you guys decide. All tips appreciated as usual.

Heart - Bad Animals

I’m not typically a rock listener, but I do think that Ann Wilson is one of the greatest female voices to ever walk this earth. Even though their heart wasn’t fully in it, this album still blows in all its lush synth goodness. I picked this copy of Bad Animals up at an antique store, but am a little disappointed in the quality of the pressing itself. Not to mention the fact the disc is dished and warped… 🤣 The low end seems quite diminished and has a bit of distortion. This seems to be the case with a lot of other 80s albums I own too. I’m not too upset because it is perfectly listenable with some added bass.
