I’m more of a savoury baker. But for my 9th lungaversary of my double lung transplant I decided I was gonna make myself a lung cake.
It is a Chocolate raspberry cake.
Very sucseful for someone who’s skills come from watching years of baking shows lol
I’m making my first chocolate cake ( prob use a recipie tin eats recipie )
The frosting and filling is gonna be raspberry
Any tips on how to make it a really good chocolate cake ??
Does anyone have have a recommendation for an oil sprayer that doesn’t clog so easy. I’ve gone cheap and obv that’s not been a good idea. I don’t know where else to look ( I’m in Australia and buy most stuff on Amazon) I would buy from the big kitchen shops but I’m not sure I trust them lol
I’ve been prescribed the ovestin pessary to strengthen somthing - I have currently got a rubber donut pessary (?) inserted to treat cervic prolapse , from long term use of steroids ( prescribed )
I have been on it 3 days and I accidently forgot one day in there.
Two weeks ago I did have the donut change as I do every six months.
But since I have started on the medication I can really feel the donut ( and I don’t usaly ) and it’s very uncomfortable ( similar to the pain/ discomfort prior to the insertion of the donut )
I was wondering if this was a side affect ? If it will go away ? I’m just not prepared to put up with this for much longer
In 41 , no perimenopause , have had the donut pessary for about 5 years. And doign some pelvic floor physio in a month. Edit to add - have not gone through childbirth.
I do have aGP appointment tomorrow but just curious to anyone else experience
I’m in Australia , and we don’t have the option to make custom converse like I have seen on the UK converse website ( and I assume the USA website )
Anyone have any idea why Australia don’t do it ??
I’ve been on low dose prednisone for nearly 9 years and will be on it forever ( lung transplant ) I have had high doses afew times when super sick.
At about the 5 year mark I started developing muscle weaknesss. It started being primarily my leg muscles. After a couple years it was less ( not much ) concentrated to my legs and an all over thing.
Not much I can do other that exercise which I’m limited in anyways
I just never hear anyone speak of this side affects from prednisone. So just curious , anyone else ?
I have a kitchen sink that in one side leak into the cupboard below. It doesn’t leak alot as that side doesn’t often get a huge amount of water overflow.
I would like an easy DIY fix that also is inexpensive and doesn’t look ugly ( I am not handy at all )

Hi got a body suit. From Kmart today. It don’t come with a a hygiene protector ( and I’ve never bought a body suit before so I don’t know if there is ment to be one )
I want a smaller size but wasn sure if it counted as normal clothing returns / exchange or lingerie/ underware ect .

Hi. I was just wondering if anyone gets ongoing itchies from IVIG infusions ?
I receive them monthly , for now over a year ,
The itchies happen every few days. OTC antihistamines Somtiems help. Waiting for drs to prescribe me some stronger
I don’t get itchy at time of infusion. .
