Recently moved my 3pm (second) dose to take with bedtime (third) dose and since around then I've started having blurry vision?

I'm on 225mg total split into 75mg morning and now 150mg at night.. it used to be 75mg x 3..

I find it difficult to describe but it's like the blurriness that happens after you've cried a lot but of course haven't cried at all, when you blink it doesn't necessarily fix it, its still blurry but with the semi clear smudge somewhere else.

Its not total blurriness, just parts.

Anyone know if adjust the dose time could do this or what it might be?

Can someone explain where the optometrist was referring to?

I was having my eye test done, last time was 4 years ago and the optometrist found suspected Glaucoma. I got an email with results but I don't know what she saw or where I'm supposed to look.

Can anyone explain or circle where I should look or what its meant to look like?

*It was just the left eye which is first image

Thank you

Lawrence King - The World of Shakespeare, 1000 pieces..

Our second Gibsons Puzzle, after Gothic Novels.. (and second completed puzzle within a week) this is Sherlock Holmes - Gibsons Book Club, 1000 pieces.. Really enjoyable!

Gibsons Book Club puzzles are beautiful. The Gothic Novels puzzle was the same.

I'm looking to get more alongside Lawrence King puzzles.

We've done a couple in this series before such as The World of Dracula. They're really enjoyable :)

Anyone else find the smell of a garden shed nostalgic?

Whenever I walk into our shed (or any garden shed) there's just something about that mix of smells, like a petrol mower, bits of grass and fertiliser, maybe some saw dust, tools, paint tins and white spirits.. whatever it is just brings me back to childhood summers playing in the garden.

We used to play the floor is lava on old upside down milk crates, keeping cool with diluted orange juice or a sparkle ice pop (preferably pear or cola) lol.

Those days went on so long, I used to be in bed while it was still bright out, summers were an eternity.

Anyone else's Dachshund drag their bits or pieces along the sofa to get down 😆

Finally caught Stevie (female) in the act of getting down from the back of the sofa

u/ch1984 — 17 days ago

11 month old Wirehaired Dachshund soon to get a sister (hopefully a rescue around 1 - 2yrs, but what breeds make great companions?)

Stevie (female) will be getting a sister at some point in the near future. We like smaller - medium breeds and she seems to also, as she can get a little scared of boisterous bigger dogs playing and knocking her over.

I see a lot of people with Double the Trouble, having two Doxies, haha. I feel like that's gonna make life harder and noisier x 2? Maybe I'm wrong? Lol

I've seen people mention Westies?

My partner and I love Sighthounds, especially Bedlington X Lurcher, although they are bigger and potentially all legs, they are very sweet.

Stevie seems to love and want attention all the time, she looks bored even though we play with her a lot, she gets walks with a lot of sniffing, she has constant access to the back garden, gets treats that take time to eat like rabbit ears for collagen and duck necks to help with plaque and tartar etc..she's got brain exercises, gets to play with the water hose, football, chasing.. and more.. you get the picture. Unfortunately no matter what toys she gets they are ripped in 5 mins. Even the "indestructible" ones, lol.

Anyway, she's sulky a lot, nudges the ball to play all the time, whines and from owning a Yorkie for 15 years who didn't have a sibling, I think its really important they have another pal for so many reasons.

Any recommendations on breeds they bond with very well? Though I know they all have different personalities like us :)

Possible reason/fix for car key that stopped working after battery change?

My partner's car key seemed to need a new battery (according to the car) its a 252 so I'm guessing the reason was that before being put into a Faraday box before bed it would be within close proximity to the car and would keep trying to connect.

I had CR2032 batteries, unused and still in date. I also watched a quick YouTube video on opening the key and changing the battery.

Following instructions, once I opened the casing the battery flew out, it wasn't secured, replaced it anyway and the key didn't work..

My partner tried synchronising again it and didn't work either.

Everything looks okay inside, seems to be making contact. I can't understand what happened.

It's a Skoda Elroq and it shares the same key with VW.

I'm based in Wicklow, is there anyone around that might be able to take a look at it?

I've attached an image of the type of key.

What battery does the actual key take when needing to be replaced?

My partner isn't home to check, she works in a lab and everything is in a locker etc.. and its been on my to do list to get a new battery for her key.

We remember, forget, remember when it's not convenient etc.. then forget, you know how it goes 😆

Anyway she got her Elroq 2nd of July last year but I'm guessing if the key is left within close proximity to the car and keeps flashing to try connect, it drains it faster?

Anyone know what the battery actually is like a CR2032 or something?

Anyone know what this could be? Seems clear but there's a lot.

Hi all, I was dropping my mum home and when I reversed she told me she saw water or something coming from the car.

She pointed to a small puddle and a line of drips from when I backed my car out.

I got down and noticed fast drops of water coming from somewhere and I'm not sure why or whats happening.. does anyone know?

It seems clear and I couldn't get a smell really.

Thanks in advance!

So disappointed Florian is gone again and I only have two pods left.. I wish it was a permanent option, also **Anyone who doesn't want theirs I'll happily help get rid of them 😆

I remember last year when I tried Florian for the first time I really liked it and this year I was so happy to see it was back but it kept going out of stock and then it was gone.

I really wish it became permanent as I love darker roasts like Arpeggio, Ristretto etc.. and it's really nice to have in the mix.

**If anyone has Florian and they dont like/want it I'll take it 😆

Does anyone else almost choke on things like salad leaves, beansprouts, or the thin onion skin between layers?

I've only recently started to give more thought to things I do or things that happen and this is one thing I've dealt with frequently over the years.

It's like for example a bean sprout with the little root thing is half up and half down my throat and I have to pull it out.. or sometimes I gulp and end up half swallowing something unintentionally?

I can't control my gulp in that moment and I'm trying to clear my throat and get it down? It's really traumatic. Can all these things be related?

Subconsciously trained myself not to take big gulps?

The recent realisation that I have RCPD (for 41 years) has led me to question different behaviours I have and one of them is when I'm drinking something whether water, coffee or coke I always take small gulps. For some reason If I try have 2 or 3 small gulps in quick succession of a fizzy drink I almost get hiccups.

It's definitely a learned behaviour that I never gave much thought to until I found out not burping was an actual thing. I guess having it for 41 years you stop questioning certain things and it's only named in 2019.

My solution to stop the shopping from rolling around 😆

I never had this issue before with other cars but for some reason everything in the boot falls around constantly in the Ioniq 5. My partner bought a Skoda Elroq EV last year and with the transport package she got plastic velcro elements and I was able to order my own set from a spare parts site.

I just thought I would share as I found them really helpful.

Autoglyms tar remover is excellent stuff!

I bought a secondhand car back in March and I noticed a lot of tiny specks that turned out to be tar. I've attached images of both sides, before and after.. Autoglym worked really well! I just have to do the rest of the car now.

Are there any other options pre botox?

I haven't burped my whole life and have gurgles and pain etc.. I'd like to at least see a specialist but I'm very scared of the whole thing.. from start to finish. Anything invasive, I get faint..

The camera up the nose test freaks me out and when I was younger for sinus issues I went to an ENT got faint when they asked me to hold the camera cable while they inserted into my nose, I needed my two hands for comfort (not that I would still be able to cope) anyway I got faint and just left.

Is there any other type of test that can be done, imaging etc.. before hand instead of the camera up the nose/down the throat?

Do you have to be awake? I've never been knocked out before and even that scares me.

I'm hyper aware of my nose now after typing all this :(
