Success stories after failure to produce

With my first child I was unknowingly anemic and then hemorrhaged during my csection which left my ferritin too low to produce. I’m pregnant with my second and would like to try so I’m taking beef liver supplements to support my iron which is also being monitored more closely and will start drinking electrolytes everyday in my third trimester (I’m 21w currently).

I wanted to hear if anyone else had a similar situation and had success after failing to produce. Also, is there anything else I can do to help support my body to be able to produce this time around?

VBAC with scheduled csection?

Im 21 weeks pregnant with my second and last child. I ended up having a csection with my first because of a failed induction/failure to progress after my water broke with zero contractions. My epidural failed, I had uterine atony, ended up being unknowingly anemic and then hemorrhaged, and had to be knocked out after delivery because the pressure/pain was too much to bear. Because of all these factors my recovery was long and brutal.

I plan to schedule a csection this time around because I don’t want to have to recover from potentially another failed labor and surgery, especially with a three year old, but a part of me is wondering if my body does what it’s supposed to do if I should just let it happen.

I feel like I might be disappointed if I don’t give myself at least the chance to try and see how long I can go. I’m definitely still planning on the csection but I wanted to know if anyone else ended up with a vbac after scheduling a csection. What made you decide to try and how did it end for you?

Are three long names too pretentious for a baby girl?

I’m due with our one and only girl (I’m done having kids after this one) in September and have had her name picked out for a while. It’s Arielle Juliette and we have a three syllable last night. I love the name and meaning of Elizabeth and have been tossing around the idea of adding it as a second middle name.

My husband comes from a family where none of them have middle names at all so he thinks it’s a mouthful and my son just has one middle name.

Any thoughts on the name as a whole or on having two middle names?

Sad Update to My Bleeker Saga

I had two prior posts asking whether I should get the Juliet 38 or the Bleeker Bucket Bag and then after deciding on the Bleeker which color I should get. Well my black Bleeker arrived and IT’S TOO SHORT! I’m 5’7” with size Z Bajillion (more like 38G/H) boobs and when I try to wear it crossbody the top of the bag hits right on my bra line under my boobs. The strap also migrates to my neck because my boobs are in the way. I love the thickness of the strap and how it feels on my shoulder but if it was just ONE HOLE LONGER it would work, but alas I am returning it. My search for a large crossbody continues 😔

What color Bleeker? 😬

I’d like a color that goes with everything as I don’t rotate bags throughout the year. My color palette is deep autumn which doesn’t really help because I feel like all 3 of these fit that. I LOVE the Merlot just because it’s so gorgeous but I feel like I’d have a hard time with it in the summer. The black and maple just feel so boring in comparison 😩 Brown I could see wearing year round but the black is just classic. I’m super indecisive if you can’t tell.

I’m pregnant and have had multiple doctors visits for various reasons and we should have reached our OOP max of $3400 by now, but our plan has been going through “revisions” and none of our claims have processed since the beginning of the year so on the provider end it looks like we still have to reach our deductible which has resulted in me having to pay out of pocket for everything. Cigna told me that once the revisions are completed our claims would be “expedited” and I I’d be owed a refund from providers I overpaid our deductible on.

Well my husband’s company got acquired and those revisions were apparently because we will be having a new open enrollment for new coverage. The cheapest plan is now $60 more/month and a $5000 OOP max which is what my OBGYN uses as the deductible, not individual.

So on top of already having paid premiums and my deductible for my current plan I would now have to pay more expensive premiums and reach an even bigger deductible before anything is covered.

I’m furious. I feel like I’ve been scammed. I don’t even know if we’ll reach our new deductible by the time the baby gets here. I feel stuck. Maybe someone smarter than me can point out anything I’m missing but all I’m seeing is red right now.

ETA: We just received notice that the deductible will reset to $0 with the new plan. They will request a deductible report and “review options”, whatever that means, but we would be starting from SCRATCH!
