I recently got a 'documented coaching' because i had to take a few days off in the past month for personal reasons and racked up some points. Not all in a row, just every now and then. I had more than enough sick time to cover. My SM was mad at me, I asked her why I'm getting points bc if i have sick time I shouldn't be, and she told me it doesn't matter how much sick time I have. I think this is total bs but I didn't fight it. My coworkers said that's bs as well, let me know no one else has gotten in trouble for the same thing, and they've said it sucks how she's unnecessarily hard on me. Theres a girl who calls out every sunday without fail, (it may be bc of religion but i havent asked) won't change her availability, and nothing's happened to her, it's just me. I already signed the coaching thing so I don't think theres anything else I can do tbh.

My bestie's bf has osteogenesis imperfecta type 3 (struggled to even type that, i got so nauseous) and has broken over 200 bones. He broke his arm at my house last week (he just tripped) and was able to tell exactly what bone was broken and how bad the break was, that's how experienced he is in the field. I think this is disgusting. My bsf needs to see the light and understand that this is just a phase. This guy's bones crumble to dust if you look at him wrong. I love my bestie and I understand he can make his own choices but ohhhhh my god. How do I get him to come back to the lord?

I've been using One Pace Downloader (thank you to whoever made that) and torrented the subbed episodes with it just fine, but when I try to download the dubbed episodes I have to use pixeldrain which throttles my speed after only a few gb downloads, and recently stopped downloading anything at all after I got through like 13gbs over the course of multiple hours. My internet speed is fairly average. Is there a way to torrent the dubbed episodes?

I tried the google drive folder from the pinned post but it just says zip failed.

I called out yesterday bc i was sick and I have over 15 hours of time anyway so whatever. My sm said i get points with the new system even if i use sick time. I called bullshit but she wouldnt say anything more about it. I def don't believe her bc what's the point of having PROTECTED sick time (the term they use on partner central btw) if it's not going to protect you?

I am exclusively a stomach sleeper which i think is fine, but i plan to get a surgery in the eventual future that will require me to sleep on my back for at least a month. It'll be a few years but i figured i should figure this out now, but every time i try i end up just giving up and sleeping on my stomach. I dont think i've ever fallen asleep on my back. Any advice?

Everyone competent is leaving and my sm really really wants me to promote to ssv. The money would be nice but I'm unsure if the stress is worth it or if I even can with my schedule. I'm a closer and can't open at all. I do my best when I'm given a checklist of things to do but when I was talking with my dad about it he got real sad so I'm thinking I should step out of my comfort zone a bit. I've worked here since April 2025 and I'm a very hard worker to the point when the ssvs know it'll be a good close when I'm there

I know we all hate our jobs but every now and then we get some nice people so tell me about yours.

We have a few interesting ones. The guy that gets a caramel macchiato with EXTRA caramel always asks me what color i'm going to dye my hair next (going to try multiple colors) and he likes me bc i use a lot of caramel for him bc hes nice to me. We also have the guy who always gets a cortado when its cold and an iced doppio when its hot, who may or may not be gay for the guy who always gets an english breakfast tea with 4 raw sugars (theyre both bachelors that are here multiple times a day) We also have the couple with a really cute service dog that know all of us by name and always gets dragon drinks with no ice and a pup cup. What i didnt know until recently is that regulars will ask for me by name sometimes which is nice :)

Kittens went back to the shelter yesterday to get snipped but i'm keeping mama for now bc they dont have space for her. Her spay appointment is in two weeks but it seems like the SECOND the kittens were gone she immediately started crying and rolling around on the floor. She lives in the basement and even when i left the door open so she could come hang out with me she doesn't want to come upstairs. She's quiet when i'm there but i can't be in the basement all the time. How do i help her when i'm out of the house for work? If you say 'get her spayed' that is not helpful and you clearly can't read.

I work in food service (not at a restaurant) and our 3 compartment sink is broken. The people that are supposed to come and clean the grease traps haven't come, any time something breaks the tech they call in fixes it juuuuust enough and then something else breaks. I'm looking for a way to break it badly enough for something to actually be done. The pipes leading to the drain and grease trap are leaking badly and overflow if too much water is poured down them (the threshold is very small) Pretending to slip from the water on the floor won't work, we have nonslip floors. My manager won't do anything and is about to lose her mind on me if i bring it up one more time. I will call the health inspector if i cant find a way to break it.

I'm trying to install a subtitles mod for half life 1's portmaster version but i'm not sure how. I have the mod and the game itself works fine, but how do i get the mod to work?

It doesn't hurt bad enough to go to a doctor and only hurts when i bend it a certain way. (Left wrist, when bending to pinky side) Maybe a 3 on the pain scale. I'm unsure what I did to it but how do I prevent it from getting worse? I know it's because of work because I haven't been doing anything else repetitive.

It's expected to be totally dead so the ssv i'm working with and I have been brainstorming ideas for things to clean that aren't on the clean play list. Anyone have any suggestions? And before anyone says I'm doing too much, I'd like the building I spend a decent chunk of my week in to be clean.
