Club Tickets with Food and Drinks for tomorrow vs KC - $40

Wound up with two extra club tickets in Section 105, behind the Legacy bench, to tomorrow’s game versus KC. They give access to the West club that’s air conditioned, and has free food (buffet style) and free drinks including beer and wine, liquor costs extra. The free food / drinks is pre-game through the 75th minute. The face is $171 per, but I’m just trying to get rid of them. I’ll take $40 per, $80 for the pair. You’ll basically make your money back after a couple of drinks and food, and still have the club and a great view of the game.

Widex 110s for Tinnitus

Hi there. My audiologist is recommending Widex 110s for tinnitus. I have no hearing loss, but I will be using them to play white / pink noise. I'm being charged $3500 for the pair, including the fitting, and a few follow-ups.

I've poked around and these seem bottom of the line. However, my audiologist is convinced it doesn't really matter since I'll be using them for tinnitus and not as traditional hearing aids.

My questions are:

  • How discreet are the 110s compared to other models?
  • How is the battery life on the 110s when they're playing a sound?
  • Is the price-tag of $3500 accurate? This will be entirely out of pocket.

Thanks.

Cruz Azul wll play J2 at the Corregidora in Queretaro (vs. Puebla)

After being last-minute kicked out of Estadio Azteca, the club tried last minute moving their home games to Estadio Azul (currently painted yellow for Club America, and the ongoing home of Club America Femenil), but turns out that the stadium isn't yet up to standards, so they're playing their opening home game in Queretaro.

Fairly sure this means they will have played home games at Estadio Azteca, Estadio Azul, EOU, Estadio Cuauhtémoc, and now Estadio Corregidora, all in the last ~5 years.

LigaMX things, and sorta absurd they allow it. They really need their own new stadium.

FMF Fined 42 Million Pesos for Fan ID Privacy Violations

For those unaware, the Fan ID was implemented after the Queretaro/Atlas riot. If you've been to a stadium since then, you'll know that it was checked maybe once out of every ten times and served no purpose whatsoever, not to mention it would take someone a good 20 seconds to validate the ID, including taking a new picture of everyone each time. Lol. To the surprise of no one, FMF was not compliant with Mexico privacy laws and was just slapped with a 42 Million Peso fine.

The purpose, if there was one, was to stop those ejected from matches for entering for a period of five years. But, again to the surprise of no one, it never worked. For me, it meant getting marketing emails from FMF / LigaMX after attending games. Truly great.

Have to imagine this is the end of the completely useless Fan ID. I wonder how much FMF paid Incode to build it out.

Fan Fest - Ticketed?

Hey -- I couldn't find any info for sure on this. Does anyone know if the fan fest is ticketed or not? If not, does it hit capacity? I'm thinking about going over to watch the second half of the Argentina / Switzerland match tonight after the Rhode Island FC game, but couldn't find any info for sure. Thanks!

Riverside Field Level Seats - Club Access?

I won a couple of field level seats on the "Riverside" side for tonight's game. Very excited

Does anyone know if this comes with anything, like club access, etc? It looks like the club is on the "west" side, so I'm not sure, and the Legacy website doesn't say for sure, except:

"Club and Field level ticket holders will have exclusive access to the indoor, climate controlled, Premium West Club. The lounge area will have all-inclusive food and beverages."

I'm not sure if that applies to the Riverside field seats too. Anyone know?

Thanks!

edit: the answer is yes!

Upgrade Refund Approved, Never Processed

I had an upgrade refund request approved with written email confirmation that it would hit my bank within 20 business days. It never did. The email address that approved the request doesn’t respond to emails and the phone agents are incredibly rude and dismissive, and of course unhelpful.

I opened a chargeback. I’m assuming that’s my only option at this point, yeah?

Need to get from GDL Airport to Stadium on Tuesday - Best Option?

I need to get from the airport to the stadium. Plan on leaving the airport around 3pm, hoping to arrive at the stadium close to 4pm. I know about the last mile and roadblocks, so that's fine. I just need to get as close as possible, like where the rideshares drop off. I was at the Mexico/Korea game so I'm familiar with where the cars can drop off.

My question is -- is it better to take a taxi from the airport or an Uber via the new shuttle? I'm fine with Uber, but the shuttle was a bit of a pain. I've just never ever gone the taxi route in GDL out of fear of getting scammed, but it looks much easier to get a taxi versus an Uber if trying to go from the airport directly.

If going from the airport directly to the stadium, what would I be looking at in terms of a price so I don't get ripped off? My understanding is I prepay within the airport?

Thanks.

Anyone have recent experience here? Thanks.

Priceline Cancellation Option Disappeared, Support Said “Glitch”, Now Non-Refundable

Please don’t reply with “you should never use Priceline” - just looking for suggestions.

I booked one night at a hotel I needed to be at near an airport for an early flight. I then moved my flight so I didn’t need the room. I had until 11:59pm last night to cancel. This was all very last minute but I knew I was still within the cancellation window.

At 10:30pm, I went into Priceline to cancel and the option to cancel disappeared. The language about being able to cancel until 11:59pm was still there in the cancellation policy. I called Priceline. They told me it was a “glitch in the system” and the reservation is now non-refundable. While I was on the phone with Priceline, they sent me an email saying the hotel did not approve my request for cancellation and the reservation is non-refundable. This was all before 11:59pm.

Not sure what to do. It’s infuriating as I was 100% within the cancellation window and the support people even told me as much, but said they couldn’t do anything since the system wasn’t allowing a cancellation.

"Ride to the Stadium" Buses for WC Games- Where exactly at the stadium?

Did anyone take one of these buses yesterday (the "official" 500 peso buses), and can anyone tell me where *exactly* they drop you off and pick you up at the stadium? And anything else they can share about the experience? Was it on time? Was there a dedicated easy way out of the stadium after the game? How long did it take for the buses to leave after the game? Anything they can share about their experience would be great.

Thanks all.

C1 Shopping Rewards Question

When you pick a gift card, do you get the code instantly? I've never done it before, and it's asking for full contact info. Curious if it's emailed or snail mailed. Thanks.
