I posted the other day that I'd applied for carer payment and it seemed possible my dad would die before it was approved. Thanks to everyone who offered advice, I called, they were very nice, turns out they wanted extra details and I didn't know, so I provided that and three days later I'm approved.. which means I don't have to worry about the power bill and can focus on caring for my dad
