I have never wanted a random bird to fly through the frame more in my life. Unfortunately didn't happen, so a clear motive is missing. I still like the photo though!
This part of our garden looked extra beautiful yesterday <3

Do your parents also not care about your academic studies? I printed my Bachelors thesis, specifically for them to be able to read it. They still haven't read a page from it. I doubt they even have a understanding of what my bachelor entailed. I know it's not the end of the world, but damn it hurts.

How the fuck do I get my roommate to close doors quietly
I am out of options at this point. I live with 3 people and have told everyone to please close the bathroom door quietly since my room is directly next to it. First and foremost, closing doors loudly is just annoying. But I also grew up in a household where slaming doors meant someone was in a bad mood and your day is ruined. So I instantly get anxious whenever she does it. (Yes I know, that's kind of my problem. But how hard is it to close a bloody door like a normal person)
Everyone has since changed the way the use the doors which I am thankful for. But one roommate still can't manage to close it quietly, even after I brought it up multiple times. Also late at night and early in the morning, which is what bothers me most.
Usually she does it when she is stressed, which is all the time lately. She'll stomp towards the bathroom and close the door loudly. Then she proceeds to lock it in the loudest way possible, letting the key fall into the doorframe. The whole debacle repeats when she opens the door.
How should I proceed? Should I literally teach her to turn the handle before closing the door? Should I ignore it? Should I bring it up for the fifth time? Please help if you had similiar experiences
Blue De Chanel Parfum check please. Appreciate you all!
Bleu De Chanel Parfum. Buyer is claiming the bottle I sold him is fake, sadly I only have these 2 photos. Would appreciate some help
It seems like the production of songs is getting denser and more maximalist by the year. Are accoustic songs able to conquer the ESC today? Let's discuss!
The songs this year, more than ever, seem to be incredibly dense with heavy and thick production. Of course this is part of the classic ESC sound, but I would love some songs to counter this style. There are so many songs that start off serene, but then take a turn into a bombastic chorus.
Of course a great example is Salvador Sobral who won for Portugal in 2017. Also Nicole's song "Ein bisschen Friede", who won for Germany in 1982, is a clear contrast to today's entries. No explosive chorus, no twists and turns. Just a well written cohesive song that can stand on its own.
I'd be happy to open a discussion on this! Would a song like that manage to gain traction in todays ESC? Why or why not? Are you hoping for more subdued songs in the future?
