The Power Station was my first concert ever.
I was finally allowed to attend a concert with an older friend when I was about 13.
There was no Robert Palmer. Instead we got M. D' Embarassmet
WTF?

I was a very early bloomer. It was around 1977 when my mother let me use this on my hairy armpits and legs. It came in a round case. It looked like a tiny suitcase.
Eventually, years later, she bought me razors. But I still remember this.
I just opened a new bank account. I got my new card. I found it strange that there are no numbers on the front. I turned it over, and the numbers are printed in big font on the back! No glasses needed to see them! Even the expiration date and CVV are easy to read!
If only we had enlarged font on restaurant menus, nutrition labels, etc.... Now that the millennials are getting older we might see these things!
Disclaimer: I'm in Canada, so everything I said might not make sense to everyone reading this.
Stupid question. Of course there is.
Was anyone totally obsessed with the early/original Duran Duran? The really early days when when they had a little punk rock edgy guitar sound? Before The Reflex became popular?
I was obsessed with them back in the day. My heart broke after they broke up, then brought in new members. This is the only Duran Duran.
*note Andy Taylor always had the best vocals
I'm surprised that I find myself laughing more than in previous seasons. This goes against how it works for most shows.

I'm dead.
First of all, kids sharing a bed is just weird unless it's Little House on the Prairie.
They had 2 living rooms in their house. Why didn't they turn one of them into a bedroom? Maybe for the parents? And let the kids have some space?
And what happened after the final episode and the reboot? Did they have Jamie and Kelly sharing a room?
Do they live near The Simpsons in Springfield?
And SO nice and cool!
It sucked in the winter but not anymore!
It sucked up the river and hit a large city. Myths were broken that day.
It was on this day 11 years ago. Moving day. After 11 hours in the car the music seemed perfectly timed to passing the sign.
I've been here since 2015. I remember going to Eglinton Station and it was full of shops. The bus terminal was busy and crowded. What I remember most is the smell of Cinnabon.
Now almost everything is closed. Cinnabon, the small convenience store, and dry cleaner place are holding on. Only a few busses end at the station now and the place is deserted even at rush hour. A couple of bus drivers told me some will move to Davisville station this summer. It's not the same.
Am I just being silly and nostalgic?
*TLDR edit
Of course Eglinton Station isn't closing. But a large part of it is. The old inner concourse, the bus bay, and every business inside (some are still open including Cinnabon)
Not ok. WTF?
Bring back the cold and snow.
I'm a volunteer at a local cat rescue group. I get many emails daily about the cats in foster care and at PetSmart.
They couldn't just leave things alone.
This morning I received an email congratulating one of the volunteers for giving birth.
Attached were pictures of the cat she fosters with her lumpy potato baby.
That poor cat.
