I haven’t had good experiences at most bike shops in Vancouver so I’m just looking to hear a suggestion as to where I can find a road bike wizard of a mechanic that can get my bike back to its former glory.

Headset play (Vision Metron 5D bars)

I’ve had a few cracked carbon bikes so I’m extra paranoid about wear. I’ve adjusted the preload many times but there is always a slight flex in this area. Probably less than 1mm.

Is this normal? Do I need to do anything else to resolve it? If there is a knock here and there I don’t mind, but want to know I’m safe. I thought maybe my plastic spaces aren’t getting old.

Don't buy these junk packs.

They are trying to position it as value, but they are basically giving you a poop sandwich. Other that the Montreal game, these will be rock bottom prices in the sub $60 range.

There is a reason they're pushing these so hard.

Wahoo Elemnt v1 Spotify support unlocked

After a solid 8 hours of vibe coding and hacking, I finally unlocked Spotify control on my Wahoo Elmnt v1.

This might be too nerdy and niche, but I am thrilled. I can open source the hack if others want to do similar.

Independent, noncommercial interoperability research on my own BOLT v1. No Wahoo firmware or binaries are distributed; the checksum-guarded patcher requires a user-supplied library from hardware they own.
