Hey so just curious every now and then Ive needed to plug in a different 3.5 hdd but I've got two 12tb drives that's striped. If I unplug one. Does the drive disappear and can unplug in the new one without harn to the data on the striped drives.

i understand the basics information wise as mov and mp4 are just standard compression formats one by apple and the other just mpeg i think. Also mov being newer. As somebody who uses DaVinci and uploads videos to youtube which should i be using. i dont quite undestand the application differences. And another thing, i have a z6iii why does it only allow slow mode in mp4 and not mov. And is there a quality difference when uploading to youtube or one that works better with youtube compression.

Recently ive been going on the whole "if buying isint owning phase" and ive started buking up on my pc lately not necessary for gaming performance but for server performance. And i figured Linux would run better in this sense. I host my own AI, I host a immich and a plex server . And to my knowledge Amd is better supported for AMD on Linux. Which regardless IK AMD is not AI oriented due to no cuda cores but regardless i like the option. And i still play quite a few video games. Every now and then i play some Fortnite with friends and host Minecraft servers and game servers of the such. along with having a decent steam library of 200 games. Is there a Linux Distro for me or should i re think

This is something I'm pretty interested in and I've got roughly 16TB of storage on my PC so space isn't the problem. Recently I've been itching to get a new GPU or two due to the fact I'm running a 6950xt. I'd like to run a small model to run agents and stuff such as email, document summary, and web search. I was running a small local model though ollama maybe 9B -14B parm but I've been craving much more. And I'd like to figure out the best bang for buck way to expand. Do I start buying 3090s or maybe AMD is still worth something and maybe a 7900xtx..maybe I'm able to use my 6950xt and the 7900xtx. I'm unsure. Any model I should set as my goal for trying to get to run. Any software to avoid like the plague or software that makes life a breeze. Maybe just a helpful yt video. Anyways thanks for any help.
Btw I seem to like deep seek v4 flash it's snappy not as good as the new Kimi but it's faster and cheaper. I can't run it on just my 6950xt so I run it cloud for now. Maybe that's just the cheapest option. If that's the case any agents other than open claw that are pretty nice to use. Or work well with openclaw.
I love typing and I type a ton for my work. I understand there is gaming switches that have shorter movement distances and lighter activation weights. Are these also good for typing. I also care about the sound a little bit a deeper tone is something I'm fond of.

Anyone know a way to soundproof some windows better or possibly just shed their experience with me. Ive got 6 shitty thin windows in my new apartment. And i live next to a highway and a airport and i neeed to study. Is there a way i can better insulate these indows. i was thinking like some rockwool over them like insulation then putting a curtain over it so it cant be seen.
