Hi everyone. I recently found out cuny reconnect but still am confused with some informations found online. I’ve had my associate from a cuny community college and I’m already at a 4 year senior college, starting my second semester there in a few weeks (fall).
I’m a dream act tap recipient for context. I was wondering if I’m eligible to apply for reconnect. If yes then how can I do so?
People who has the chilliwack bomber and care to share how it fits? I’m around 5’6” (168 cm) 115 lbs (53 kg) Male. I’m between S and XS but can’t decide on one. Mainly gonna be wearing with like a tshirt underneath on mild days but on colder days, perhaps with like a heat tech+sweater. Any suggestions? Am I better off getting S or should I get XS depending on my use case?
I’ve been looking into cg jackets for myself. I’ve narrow down to 3 options that I like and consider to fit my situation. The wydham parka, macmillian parka and chilliwack bomber. Mainly gonna be using it as an everyday jacket during winter.
I’m in nyc so the temperature ranges are in most winter days: 25–45°F (-4 to 7°C)
Colder days: 10–25°F (-12 to -4°C)
Rare extreme cold: below 10°F (-12°C) and so on.
As of now I really like the look of chilliwack bomber but not yet fully convinced to get it or just any of the three.
Since I wanna only get one jacket, I’d like something durable and has a decent longevity. Also something that’s easy to style or dress up, down. I do have other jackets and layers from patagonia that I can mix and match or rotate. The point is, it’s not going to be my only outerwear. For context, I’m around 5’6” ~115 lbs M.

Hi everyone. I just need some help choosing the size and color for 1/4 zip better sweater. I already have two full zip sweaters in black and stonewash.
Idk if I should just get stonewash again for 1/4 zip or go with a different color. Stonewash seems like the most versatile color to just mix and match. Any opinions? Just as an everyday wear really.
Both full zip ones I have are in size S. I heard sizing can sometimes be inconsistent for better sweaters depending on the color and version (I might be wrong).
For context, I’m 5’7” ~115 lbs more on lean side.
I’m currently between S and XS. My other concern is if they shrink or not after the dryer. Cuz I always use dryer afterwards I’m done with the laundry.
I’m mainly wearing with just a tshirt or something like a heat tech underneath. Or sometimes with another jacket over it (quilted bomber hoody, puffer, etc) depending on how cold it is.
Should I get S or am I better off getting XS this time(considering the shrinkage if it exist)?

Which subscription is worth to get for shopping at aldi in general? For dash pass I’d get a student discount of either $4.99 per month or $48 annually for subscription.
I use instarcart for shopping from costco since i have costco membership and i usually meet the minimum $35 for free delivery and there’s no extra charge at all.

My main use are just gonna be for movies, music, podcasts, etc basically for media consumption.
I got to try soundsticks 5 that one of my room mates have and it sounds pretty decent. But before I actually pull the trigger, I’d love to hear people’s opinions from here. Is it a decent speaker for my use case? Price wise I’m flexible since I dont see myself buying several speakers and rather just buy a decent one once than buying twice.
Any suggestions?

Last semester, I set up a payment plan to pay off the remaining balance that tap does not cover.
I can’t do it right now because I’m not seeing my TAP award in my cuny first like I said. I don’t how much much is TAP gonna cover this semester and dk what the remaining balance would be as well. I’m concerned because deadline is july 17th and I’m alittle lost here not knowing what to do.

How long does it take for the dept to respond to your email? And just to make sure this is the correct email yes?

Hi everyone. I’m actually new to the sub and I’m here cuz I need some help picking up a speaker for my desk setup. By any means I’m not an audiophile.
As of now, I’m just using speakers from my monitor and although it works it’s not the best. The volume tends to be so low especially with some videos on YouTube. I’m mainly gonna be using it for watching contents, movies and music etc for context.
A friend of mine has harman kardon soundsticks 5 and it sounds really amazing. He actually recommended me to get that. Any opinions on that or just in general? I don’t game at all. I’m open to suggestions so feel free to share your thoughts. Budget wise I’m flexible. If soundsticks 5 are good choice for my needs for instance, I’m willing to pay the price and whatnot.

Currently using fg boots on ag but heard its not ideal so I’m in the hunt for new ag cleats this time.
Considering vapor/superfly, f50 hyperfast, etc but there could be more options.
Other than that, how different is the ag soleplate on f50 compare to that of vapor/superfly?

Is the AG soleplate on the Nike Phantom 6 Elite actually better than the FG version?
Mainly wondering about durability, comfort, traction, and whether AG is safer/more forgiving overall. Also this might sound crazy but do AG fits the same as FG particularly for this boot; phantoms elite?
I mostly play on AG at least for now. I owned a FG elite high. Is AG worth getting over FG, or does FG hold up just as well? I had a hard time trying to find a boot that fit me well, ended up getting this phantoms are they fit like gloves to my feet now that I wanted another pair as they’re currently on sale. Just a quick question regarding the size. I recently bought a phantom 6 elite high, it was hard for me to find a boot that fits me well and phantoms fit amazing. Now that I wanted another boot, this time I’m getting a low cut version.
I bought US 9.5 they fit great in terms of width, but length wise there’s about a thumb space from my toe to the top for the boot. They play just fine but it’d be nice if there’s less space like maybe half the thumb instead of a full thumb.
When I cut sharply or sprint, I didn’t notice like my foot sliding inside or so and my toes are not hitting the front when stopping suddenly either.
My question is how different is 9 from 9.5? Are they the same in terms of width but shorter in length? Or is it the other way around??
Am I better off just sticking with 9.5 or should i get 9 instead?

Do I get the 1st or 2nd jacket? I intend to wear with like a hoodie underneath, basically like a spring and fall jacket for me. Also size wise, am I better off getting S or M(for each jacket, since they have different fits if I'm not wrong)? For context, I'm 5'7", around 120lbs.
