These decks are so oppressive with their extra swings, card draw, deletion, filtering and playing from trash. I do not play well against it them all. I play Revivemon and Hadesmon in an appmon deck and just get absolutely trounced. Should I switch back to TS slop?
How do you guys deal with oppressive decks that just have ways to do everything even when you don’t give them any memory to use.
It’s barely any savings compared to the battalion box and that has more models…
Am I better off just making a battle march list from the battalion and then buying the lord on dragon?
Edit: thanks everyone I didn’t know the battalions got discontinued. Thats not exactly a great thing for people wanting to play full old world games. I knew battle march would be nice but if the savings had been more it could’ve been a cheaper entry. Seems GW are shooting themselves in the foot again here…
Because even with 2 boxes DZ sets 4, 7, 8, 10, and 11 opened in total with some trial decks I also bought, I still have nothing useful to use or run, just junk commons and rares that serve no synergy and I’m way better off just buying singles of RR, RRR, and higher for deck building.
So I have played about a dozen or so games or standard and while it’s fun, researching the various ride lines and “named staples” for the decks I’m a bit salty about the pricing and cost associated with a lot of options I like.
Is premium more forgiving since it’s gotten a pool much larger? I have so far gotten some really good cards from 4 boxes of OverDress V Clan Collection volume 2 and am looking to expand from that.
Are clan cards useable in standard st all or do they need that weird shape icon in the bottom left?

Mixing basic level 2 units for a total of only 4 in a deck should be fine. Any combination of them as long as it’s 4 total is the exact same as having 4 total…
Am I dumb or is there some other reason for this? I can understand 4 of each basic unit but mixing within a total of 4 should be fine..
Are any of the sets released in the past year any good with a showdown deck or say the card fight vanguard decks?
I’m new to the game and am wanting to build some casual decks.
New to shadowverse but familiar with TCG’s. Are the new sets pretty easy to build decks out of or singles the way to go? I see some of the most recent ones are combined sets, does that mean double the cards or just combined for US vs Asia? Does this game have good starter trial decks like vanguard?
My store just got in some boxes of set DZ-BT 08-10 and I was wondering what decks would be ideal to start with and then build off of with those sets. I do not anticipate a big locals scene I think there’s five of us total but I’m down to learn and watch the anime too. There is also a lyrical box set but that looked like a premier set.
I was looking at the tier starter decks to start with.
I just wanted to include cards of Digimon I like hence the Hawkmons, Floramons, Kiwis, and Deramons. I’m worried that would be shooting myself in the foot though for any competitiveness.
I’m also worried my tamer and option card amount is too low but I often have trouble finding level 4’s and 5’s when I need them.
I played my buddy yesterday and I was Iliad/TS and he was Titanmon.
He repeatedly on multiple turns would play a card that moved memory over to my side and then started using his devolution stack “once per turns” to resolve them all and take his time doing them.
Doesn’t his turn immediately end when memory goes to my side and the ONLY effects that happen are “end of turn”?
I need some help identifying issues with my deck, besides the initial 1 drop Jenice I don’t have much to play for the first 2 turns. I do have access to some other Gd-04 vulture cards and I can splash in any other color but I don’t have much in the way of powerful units at level 6 or higher for other colors. The closest I get is this Freedom Gundam, ST08 Destiny Gundam, or I could run either half of the ST 08 blue/red Hathaway deck.
My FLGS tends to run a lot of decks that play Neo Zeong, Big O, Wing Gundam and I do not stand a chance.
Hi I am a returning player and my last sets were blazing vortex/dawn of majesty. I have picked up the modern 2026 and modern 5Ds decks to practice with but wanted to ask about the 2025 Tins and Legendary Collection Kaiba boxes and similar product. Are they pointless in comparison to just building out decks via singles or would cards in there complement any meta deck or help a poor archetype deck compete? The description says so but I feel like it’s a trap.
I’m building the High Elf Realms Battalion and wanted to make sure they aren’t faction or tribe specific in case I mix and match.
Are they for certain gods or for sea elves, morathi elves, vs chrace elves etc?
Is Set 7 the first set to have abilities on bases? I’ve collected about 6 packs of Secrets of Power, A box of Jump to Lightspeed, and a box of Twilight of the Republic and all the bases I have are just for aspect attributes.
How do we feel about this? Do you guys envision a lot of new usage out of old cards now because of deck size decreases or increases, or ignoring aspects? Or do the newer cards tend to overshadow old cards so much that they become obsolete?
Just bought a Lawless Jabba precon deck and found no rules pamphlet because I wasn’t aware it wasn’t a “starter deck”. I know, im typing on a glorious knowledge brick in my pocket, i can look stuff up. I’m checking the website right now for rules but seems most of you have mentioned the Hoth Intro box. Are all the decks that are sold all precon and not beginner friendly?
I feel like only getting 2 rookies, which are essential is a very poor rate. This feels unusual. Does Bandai expect me to buy multiple boxes just to get enough rookies to run him? (I know singles are a thing) but to just play digimon in general via digivolution lines, shouldn’t the uncommon rate be better?
