My 2024 MYLR has decided that my phone is too close when I sleep

So the car now seems to be unlocking itself, locking again (with a honk of the horn) all night. Car is parked in my driveway.

Phone hasn't had a software update, neither has the car for a couple of weeks..

It never used to do this - it's annoying - so I need to move the phone to another room each night so the car stops honking and stays locked.

Any way to tone down the sensitivity so this doesn't happen? I want my phone back in room when I sleep.

UPDATE: Found the issue - one the door handles was stuck open, so the car was getting confused I think...

Seller gone, box in transit, should I be concerned?

I bought a vSeeBox box 6 Plus on eBay this week it seemed to be a well-established seller based in Pennsylvania, with quite a history selling these boxes.

Box got despatched, I'm tracking it, but weird the sellers account is now totally deleted and I can't even view my auction result..

Do these boxes need authorisation/enabling or something to work? I'm not going to be able to contact the seller.. I'm outside of the United States so it'll take at least another week to get here..

I'm more intrigued that his account got deleted, do eBay have an issue with vseebox?

Cranbourne/Pakenham line - third track?

When they built Skyrail, I remember response to criticism that it was only two tracks.. that there was provision for a future third track.

Ever since I am still scratching my head what this forward thinking plan would actually look like - can't see how they would do that

Any clues?

My Rayban Meta's nearly didn't get through airport security

I was there to take a domestic flight within Malaysia - I was wearing them and put them in the tray for the x-ray machine... they stopped the machine, picked them up and scrutinised them very closely.. it was 50/50 if they would allow them through. Eventually they allowed them.

Lesson learned - put them into checked luggage or into your carry on bag.

Free FTTP upgrade - what role does OC/Strata play here?

What's the deal here? My cousin wants to get fibre, isn't technical, when I look up her address on nbn it says to contact the OC/strata. She lives in a ground floor unit - it's not an apartment block.

What's the process here? What will the OC/strata do exactly? Does she have to do this before applying for an upgrade from her provider? Which is Foxtel. She's currently on FTTN.

Any advice appreciated on how this works.

The nbn website says this in respect to her address:

GREAT NEWS! YOUR BUILDING MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN UPGRADE

Speak with the authorised representative of your building / Owners Committee (where applicable) about applying to upgrade the nbn^(®) technology to access faster, more reliable nbn speeds.

World TV channels app?

I did have an app on my S7 that I found in the app store , or via one of the apps in the app Slstore , that had a list of every country with all of their TV channels . It was huge.

I had to do a factory reset and now I can't find that app again

Anyone know what and where it is?

How to get multiple VLAN's to my living room?

I have a Ubiquiti UDR7, and also a Ubiquiti UniFi Flex 8 Port 2.5Gbe PoE++ Switch. Both colocated in a wiring closet.

I have a single cable to a datapoint in my living room, currently on a unmanaged Netgear switch, and I want to trunk multiple VLAN's to that location. What Ubiquiti switch should I install there ?

I have a guest WiFi for some IOT devices, but now I want a wired device in the living room with same connectivity - so I think I need a new VLAN that only goes to Internet.

I have a strong background in Cisco networking but Ubiquiti is new to me.

What switch do I buy to replace the Netgear? 8 ports will be plenty. Any help appreciated.

AITAH - for wanting to eat what I want when out dining with cousins?

Three of us went out for dinner, Thai food. I don't see these cousins often - the other two live in each others pockets.

We all ordered one dish each, with some rice on the side. After we order - one cousin says to the waitress - "no onion or garlic in anything please". I love garlic and onions. I told the waitress I did in fact want onions and garlic in my dish.

Cousin looks at me as if I have two heads "But Michael doesn't like garlic and onion"..

"Well I do" I said.

"But we always share our dishes"

"He's still welcome to have some of mine" I said.

I just got a blank look.

Rest of the meal was awkward.
