AITAH for standing at a concert in which everyone was standing?

Hi! My husband and I recently attended a concert. Everyone in our section was standing except for the couple behind us who remained seated the entire show. Everyone sat down for a slower song, and the woman in the couple tapped my shoulder and thanked us for sitting because they couldn’t see with us standing. My husband, who was in front of her, is quite tall. I offered to switch seats with him if helped her to see better. She said “oh no, we’ll just try and watch the show between you when you stand”. Are we the assholes here?

Edited to add: she was passive aggressive. These were assigned seating sections, not general admission. We were about halfway up the section and everyone was standing. And it’s totally fine if you think I’m the asshole here! Just was looking for some perspective.

One of the most fun concerts I’ve ever been to

I go to a lot of concerts, and Noah was probably the most fun show I’ve ever been to. Not just the music, production, setlist, etc, but the people around me. Everyone was singing and dancing, having fun, not afraid to be themselves. I just wanted to express my gratitude to such a fun fan base! ❤️

Why do customers ask where something is in the most vague way possible?

Customer: excuse me, where are the candles?

Me: are you looking for scented jar candles or plain candles?

Customer: the long skinny ones

Me: taper candles are in aisle x

Customer: oh, I’m looking for birthday cake candles

SM just informed me of the manager restructuring. I’m walking. 👋🏻

I was hired to work M-F as replen manager. Now I’m being asked to give up 75% of my weekends, and close. I am essentially washing my hands of all replen duties with the new restructuring.

I do so much for my store. It will take 3 people to replace me. I am a good employee and I put up with a lot of shit because I genuinely do like my job. But this is insane and the final straw.

The easy solution here is to create a part time ops manager position to help with fabric, balloons, price changes.

Does anyone else experience overcorrecting?

Preface by saying I’m diagnosed ADHD, undiagnosed but suspected autism. Does anyone else have a tendency to overcorrect? For example, I missed a text from my mom, and once I realized she was trying to reach me, I checked my phone every 1-2 minutes for the next several hours to make sure I didn’t miss anything else.

Just on a journey to understand my mind better and be more patient with myself, I appreciate any feedback.

Big jewelry reset coming up

I highly recommend printing off backer labels ahead of time and giving them to a cashier to rip apart when they aren’t busy. You don’t realize how long ripping labels apart takes until you’re mid-reset and they never end.

Good luck!

The gluttony makes me sad, but I’m glad they sold from the stock room before they had a chance to get stolen off the floor.

This is two SFS orders 🥴

Is this anything?

Hi! I know nothing about fossils so excuse me if this is a silly question. Is this a fossil? Found in NW Ohio near Lake Erie. About 1.5-2” long.

Visited your city from the US. We had such a great time, and that was only made better by how kindly Scousers treated us. We loved our time in Liverpool and will be back. ❤️
