This is how I fixed rodent menace in my Jimny

Not in the video - after a few months, rats started coming inside again. I discovered there's another entrance from rear bumper. There are two air vents. I took them both out (made of plastic) and screwed steel meth to them. Problem solved.

I built an expense logger for iPhones

I’ve just released Vyay for iPhone after previously developing the web version.

Instead of standing at the checkout line struggling to categorize and date a transaction, you can log expenses in 2 seconds flat with a command-line style input. Best of all, it has no database of its own - your data lives entirely on your own Google Sheets, ensuring total privacy and data ownership.

Some of the main features include:

  • Lightning-fast, text-based entry: Just type something like 450 bank fuel and hit enter. Done in 2 seconds.
  • The "Triage" workflow: A dedicated Logs tab to batch-categorize, add notes, and verify transactions later when you actually have time. Or you can do that in google sheet itself.
  • Local-first & offline support: Saves instantly to your phone and automatically syncs to Google Sheets in the background when you're done logging.
  • Total data sovereignty: I used the secure drive.file scope. The app only sees the spreadsheet it creates. No third-party servers storing your financial history.
  • Semantic pattern matching: Automatically groups similar entries (e.g., Pizza Hutpizza, and PIZZA!! all group together).
  • Smart Analytics: High-confidence recurring expense detection (subscriptions vs periodic bills), burn-rate tracking, and outlier detection to spot lifestyle creep.

I originally built it because I got tired of the friction in traditional finance apps. They always felt like a chore, making me fiddle with menus and dropdowns at the cash register when I just wanted to log the amount and walk away.

It’s now available on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/ua/app/vyay-fast-expense-tracker/id6761270752

The base app (lightning-fast entry, logs, and Google Sheets sync) is completely free with no ads, tracking, or accounts. If you want to unlock the advanced predictive analytics, recurring engines, and lifestyle creep tracking, it's just $0.99 a month.

I’d appreciate any feedback on the onboarding experience or the sync speed on iOS. I'm continuing to improve it and add features!

I built an expense logger for iPhone (demo on my mini)

Why is nobody in India replicating this recliner kit?

Just a few months back it was priced at 13k INR (plus shipping and customs), and now it has more than doubled on the same site (30k just for the product). And the reason being too much demand of jimny nomade accessories in Japan.

But c'mon, it's just some pieces of metal. How much do you think is its manufacturing cost? Why isn't some Indian offroad accessories brand replicating it?

I have been hiring and didn't get good response. Linkedin job auto-paused after a number of applicants (half of them are not even from Jaipur and asking for remote work). On indeed, I got zero applicant.

I also posted on reddit and got almost no applicant. Vanished after calling for interview. Previous experience of naukari is not good too so won't be posting there.

So I want to know from employee's point of view, where do you search for jobs?

I am building out my team at Unreal Brains and looking for 3 sharp people to join us. We are not your typical slow-moving Jaipur agency. We work with international US/UK clients and operate at a pretty high speed.

The office is in Vaishali Nagar.

The Roles

1. Executive Assistant / Research Analyst (Operations)

  • Mission: Lead Generation & Admin.
  • The Job: You are the engine. You will find leads on Apollo/LinkedIn and build "Battle Cards" identifying specific tech flaws (slow speed, missing pixels) for US/UK brands.
  • Pay: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000
  • Requirements: High IQ, extreme attention to detail, and great written English.

2. BDM / Closer (Sales)

  • Mission: Pipeline Quality & Revenue.
  • The Job: Vetting leads and closing deals. You will record personalized Loom videos for international CEOs and sell both our marketing services and software/MVP development expertise.
  • Pay: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 + Commission
  • Requirements: Fluent/Neutral English, comfortable on camera, and understands software/marketing cycles.

3. Agency Manager / Performance Lead (Delivery)

  • Mission: Production & Local Face.
  • The Job: Managing Meta/Google ads for up to 10 clients. You will be the bridge between strategy and execution, meeting with local referrals and shielding the dev team from daily queries.
  • Pay: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000
  • Requirements: Expert-level knowledge of Ads Manager and professional communication skills.

How to Apply

I do not want a generic CV. Just DM me with a bit about yourself and which role interests you. I will send over a 5-minute logic challenge to see how your brain works.

Cheers!

If you're an employer, Linkedin gets you most number of candidates but the system is a scam in itself.
I posted two job posts. They auto paused because of "num of applicants" reached, and asked me to pay.

I promoted post and it spent all within 40 mins without a single new applicant.

While on indeed, I am yet to get 1st applicant. Which platform to use?

I am hiring for BDM (sales), and an EA role and don't want to spend on promotion and ads (already spent on linkedin and got zero results).
