HOT TAKE: RWBY didnt NEED to havd a super serious plot and would have worked better as a sort of "saturday morning Kids WB" type show

I've seen people say that V1-3 in hindsight, were great because of the lack of serious plot and villains that raise the stakes of the show. However....I feel that it didn't really need to be super serious in the first place. What made it so cool during the early days when Monty was around was the charm, BADASS choreographed fights, and designs that truly made the show pop. NOT EVERY SHOW NEEDS TO ALWAYS BE SUPER SERIOUS!! RWBY would have worked just fine as a crazy fun little show with cool hperfast fights and maybe a villain of the week or villain of the month. Now I feel the show tries WAY too hard to be serious when it doesnt need to be.

Think of Teen Titans (2003)

If it was structured more like that it would be fantastic

What's something you think the audience wouldn't be mature enough to handle happening in RWBY?

I'll start. Imagine if in the epilogue they show the future and Blake is married to Sun instead of Yang. I'm not saying this should happen. It would be shocking, and I don't think either fans or haters of Bumbleby would handle it well. You'd have some accusing the writers of queerbaiting with Bumbleby just because Yang didn't turn out to be Blake's forever person, while others would be saying this is proof that Blake was straight all along, which isn't really how sexuality works

whether he deserve his fate or not...he did it to himself and its his own fault

No like...dead ass someone needs to convince me why jax didn't deserve his fate after because in all honesty, cuz' boy let me tell you guys..I went back and re-watched all the episodes and every time I catch all the little details leading right up to the episode of his abstraction it makes him look WORSE. i know there's people here saying no one deserve to be abstracted no matter how bad they are but I just dont believe that. I can't really believe that.

Based off of what we've seen and what we know, what are the speculation on how Sunbringers work?

After seeing her fight that one angel woman , how her power works completely strange to me. Anyone have any ideas or theories on what her true abilities are?

Every line from Doomfists voice actor this Lore release was BARS 🔥🔥

The acting, the tone, the straight up HEAT that this man was spitting throughout the entirety of the video needs to be studied by all future video game villains. And yes , i'm glazing because he is my main.

Has there been any follow up on the story about Doctor Hasley and that AI she sent into slip space?

I remember that story giving me absolute chills when i read about it a while ago. It was horrifying , yet, intriguing at the same time. I just really want to know what the AI saw or experienced that caused it to spaz out like that and freak the doctor out.

Can someone confirm the rumor that Jane Doe was originally supposed to be a void hunter?

I was browsing twitter when I came across this brief post that stated that during the earlier development stage of her character she was originally going to be a void hunter. Is this true??

These fight Scenes was STRAIGHT HEAT!!!!

Say what you will about the cgi movies BUT, at least one of them had, HAND DOWN, the best fight scenes I've seen in a resident evil movie, or game, for that matter.

We talk about how Bumblebee could have been written better but what about Blacksun. How would yall write and plan out Blacksun better than the show could have?

u/coreylee121 — 3 months ago

for me it will ALWAYS be that Bumblebee and even Blacksun are not inherently down right AWFUL ships. Even though yang and blake becoming canon was poorly thought out, it isn't a HORRIBLE SHIP. its a solid 6/10 ship that COULDVE worked if it were better written in some areas here, here, and there, etc. the same goes for Blacksun.
