Why is Jean Grey so weak in the older X-Men movies?

I’m going back and rewatching the first couple X-Men movies in preparation for Doomsday. The Jean Grey in the Spiderman movie was extremely strong and I could see how she could become an Omega-level mutant capable of harboring the phoenix force. But these older X-men movies show Jean learning at an older age and visibly struggling to manage her abilities. They do show her getting stronger but I just don’t see how she could get strong enough to be one of the most powerful superheroes in Marvel. I haven’t watched all of the X-men movies just because the cast changes so much and I know they are known for not being very good. I’m just wondering why they nerfed her powers so much and/or if she gets significantly more powerful in later movies? Do you think they’ll show her true strength in future MCU movies?

Any cozy games that would be interesting on stream?

I love a bunch of cozy games including city builders, rhythm games, dating sims (honestly most sims), and virtual novels whether they’re cozy or not! I obviously like other games too but cozy gaming is the best and I’d love to find a good cozy game to stream and not super boring to watch. I’m open to anything other than any kind of gore or horror. Even if it isn’t a cozy game and you think it’d make for an entertaining stream, please let me know! I’d love to hear some suggestions.

DAE prefer sleeping on the couch than their own bed?

For years, I have almost preferred sleeping on the couch than sleeping in my own bed. I think it stems back to my childhood with times where I didn’t have my own bed to sleep on or when my parents were about to get divorced and my mom slept in the living room often (in which I often hung out with her and slept there too). After that I continued to sleep there instead of my own room and still do it often to this day. And it makes me feel bad for my boyfriend because it feels weird voluntarily doing it lol when a couple isn’t stereotypically arguing or fighting. This is also all in expense to my poor back lol and I already got scoliosis. Is anyone else with me on this? Like why do I find my couch more comfortable than my bed😂

Any advice for a newer twitch streamer?

Hello! A couple months again I started streaming on twitch as a hobby since I’m usually gaming anyways. I’m not dissatisfied with my current standing with my channel (87 followers) but I can only get 1-2 people, typically my friends, to regularly watch. Is there any advice that you’d give to attract a few regular viewers? My overall goal with my channel is, regardless of my followers, to have a few regular followers to hang out and chat! As context, I post clips/videos on YouTube, twitch, and instagram to reach people off of twitch, which I KNOW has helped me with my goal. I know the game you play helps but I don’t know much of if there’s a certain time I should try to stream or anything. It might be worth mentioning that I’m also a lgbtq-woman gamer and I obviously have a full time job that I do around this. I’d love to hear any helpful suggestions/advice you might have!

How do you manage your “Irish hair”?

I have medium length wavy/curly hair. I can always manage to make it look good on day one, but every day after that it’s super frizzy. I don’t brush through it or anything on the following days, I usually wet it and try to restyle. Once it dries it’s always too frizzy so I end up putting it up. It makes me feel like I have 1-2 good hair days a week lol. I’ve never had this long of hair before and the longer it gets the more I struggle with it. Is this anyone else’s experience? If not, what’s your hair routine because I am in need of help😭

Does Futurama get better after the first season?

Context: I’m absolutely obsessed with Bobs Burgers and I keep watching it over and over again. I’ve been trying to find shows that are similar to it and I’m realizing it’s kinda hard lol.

I heard that Futurama’s comedy style is similar and I’ve tried watching it but it feel almost too dry of humor for me. So far in season one, the cuts in between scenes and jokes feels almost weird or too awkward cause they don’t use any transition sounds or anything. On top of that the voice acting so far is also not my favorite. I’ve heard really good things about Futurama but after watching a couple episodes I’m not getting it.

I’m just wondering if this is one of those shows that you gotta keep watching for it to get good (which I’m not against) or if this is really all there is to it.

Also feel free to include some recommendations for shows like Bobs Burgers! I’ve enjoyed shows like Archer, F is for Family, and I’m starting Central Park. I’m not really into anything like Family Guy cause the jokes are too crude and gross for me.

Was anyone extremely obsessed with salt as a kid?

It is well known that I love salt and still do (might end of being the death of me one day lol). It’s calmed down a ton since I was younger. I remember being so obsessed that I would pick up and eat salt from melting snow (disgusting I know) and I would open up our water softener as a kid and eat the salt in there. If my family was ever looking for the salt shaker they’d check in with me first. Anyone else? Or is it just me lol?

I need some mature/smut romance manwha recommendations!!

I’ve been reading these comics for a couple years and I feel like I have read most of the completed ones. I’m looking for more completed stories or long continuing ones (70-80+) chapters. I don’t really care how long the completed ones are. I mostly ready straight/yuri romance manwhas but I’m open to reading a yaoi if it’s really good!! Help a girl out🥹🙏

Is it weird for a 24 year old to be sleeping with a stuffed animal?

I think about this every so often because to sleep I NEED a stuff animal (all of mine have names) to sleep. Now I’m not obsessed with them or anything but it does feel like I have some sort of connection with them. Would you be put off if you knew someone that names their stuff animals/sleeps with one every night like a little kid lol? I’m just curious.

Is it a bad idea to take out a personal loan for an unexpected situation?

My dog attacked another dog (who is now recovered) and the dog owner and I arranged for me to pay the vet bills (obviously.) The bills turned out to be quite a lot. Me being a 24 year old working a low entry level job who is also paying off student loans and other things, can’t really afford it all at once. I have good credit and I always pay on time. I’ve been trying to think of a couple of ways I can do this and one is a small loan. I wouldn’t need anymore than $1000 but I’m worried it’s a bad idea. I don’t know much about finance and my family is not necessarily the best example when it comes to that sort of thing. Is it a terrible idea??? Would there be a better way to do this???

How should I approach service animal owners?

I work at a news station, and today we had a guest come on the show with her service animal. After the interview was over, I asked the owner if her dog was currently working. I found out that he was and I went on my way without interacting with the service dog.

I am a bit of an over thinker though and I’m worried that the way I asked about it might’ve made her feel uncomfortable or annoyed. I guess I’m just wondering if I went about it in the right way and if it’d bother you in that situation. If so, I would love some advice!!

I run into a lot of animals (including service animals) at work and I’m a huge animal lover so I’ll take very opportunity to meet them. I want to respect their service animal and not make the owner uncomfortable. Thank you so much!!
