Dear Debbie by Friday McFadden:- unhinged female rage

For all the shit Freida gets in this sub for her books, this one was hilarious

It's perfect for a quick read/palatte cleanser. The FMC, Debbie was a kickass vigilante and had me laughing half of the book. Her ideas for revenge were quite ingenious.

I'd rate it a solid 3.7 >!(brownie points for not making the husband cheat)!< The story was wild and the FMC was just carried on by plot armor, buuuut if you are looking for a satisfactory revenge story to consume, look no further.

The Girls in the Dark by Avery Bishop

It had been a long time since I was up till 3 am in the morning reading - this book had me hooked from the prologue itself.

Unfortunately I had spoiled it for myself by guessing that >!Megan" was actually Allison and not the actual Megan. The real Megan had died!< -- in the prologue itself. So I guess the whole novelty of the twist wasn't there for me :')

The book is suspenseful and fast paced. It doesn't drag on and her chapter ending cliffs reminded me a bit of Loreth Anne White. Both mysterious but informative which would make you want to read more. There were some parts which didn't really make sense to me, a bit of plot holes I guess - but overall a good read.

I'd rate it a solid 4/5. This book is perfect for fans of Riley Sager and Loreth Anne White. And for people who might be in book slumps (as I was 😂).

ps : I am not sure why the author didn't put trigger warnings, but there were mentions of child abuse and sa. I have read many violent descriptions (Karen Rose for example) but this creeped me out, it was a very disturbing feeling considering I have read worse stuff before. And it wasn't even much..but still very creepy feeling. So personally from my side, reader discretion is advisable. Your mental health matters.

What's up with the Indian men's self advertisement in my dms?? 😭😭

I opened up my reddit account recently to get recs for books (booktok sucks and anyone who disagrees isn't an avid reader) and to keep up with lads (it's an otome game).

When I first opened I was bombarded with Indian subs and God the posts were either misogyny or plain disgusting. So I had muted 90% of Indian subs. I was active in other international subs but nowhere did I get so many creepy dms as here.

AIW is technically the first Indian sub I am actively participating in and not even been 24 hours since I started commenting in few posts and goodness -- my dms are literally flooded with Indian men self advertising....like whyyy?? Brother you aren't impressing anyone. This isn't Hinge or Bumble. Why are you giving me your age, place of work, salary, single status and what not?? Does this look like a matrimony website to you all? And then comes the text "let's connect" -- why??? When did Reddit become LinkedIn?? You're not gonna find anyone to f*ck or romance here. This is an anon platform. And if you are so desperate for it, go to the other chat subs na?? Why bother us?? It's so pathetic. Like some cockroaches coming scrambling.

How to help my aunt who's getting blackmailed because of nsfw AI images of her?

My aunt (40F) accidentally fell into a group of scammers who took her images from Facebook and made nsfw images and videos of it. Now they are circulating it among her relatives, workplace (she's a school teacher) and even her doctor and asking for payment else they will make it "viral".

My aunt and uncle have already logged an FIR against the group. She did this after having paid that group for over 2 years. The entire thing came to focus because that group sent a nsfw video of her to one of her sisters and she called up my mom and slowly the whole relative circle got to know from that sister.

My question is - are there any websites or links which can delete these types of videos from the Internet net forever? Should we worry that these videos can go over to the dark web or in general p*rn sites?

Because I'll be honest, I don't really have faith in the police of our country 🥲.

The app keeps crashing and kicking me out

So basically I had a lot of 5* cards piled up to watch. Now as I am watching them one by one I keep getting kicked out of the app.

Everytime the scene goes near to a certain point in Caleb's Netherlord myth, the screen freezes and the app closes.

I have tried everything - cleared cache, airplane mode, as well as tried the "repair" and "clean" option in the main menu.

I am at wits end on what to do now. Has anyone experienced this before? How did you solve it?

On a Quiet Street by Seraphina Nova Glass - need recs for such scandal/secrets type of thriller books.

The story was okayish, I'd give it a 3.5/5

However I absolutely loved the different scandals and secrets at the end of the book.

I have already read Someone we know by Shar Lapena and You deserve to know by Aggie Blum Thompson (my favourite scandal/ secrets thriller book). So I need more recs similar to this type.

TIA

Me when Xavier decided to break my hard pity which I had been building for *his* birthday card

Note to self - never again attempt this when hard pity is less than 50. Like I just tried to even out the hard pity number from 43 to 40 using the free pulls and Xavier barrelled in 😭 (in literally just 3 pulls)

The most ironic thing is that I had watched this very card on YouTube last night and I already had three green 5* cards and one R3 4* card. I guess the silver lining is that I get free 40 dias from this

ps: someone please tell me that a 5* card has more value than a R3 ranked 4* card 🥹

My absolute favourite part of multibanners - new games 🤩

Idk what's it called, but playing Kitty Cards and Plushies gets so boring sometimes. This is one of the reasons I always look forward to multi banners. More than pulling for cards I wait for the various games they give out.

My favourite till day is the Restaurant game from Morality's Tenderness. Since I joined this year, I have no idea what what other games there were before 😆

What was your favourite game?

Show me your MCs in :-

 1. Your favourite myth outfit

 1. Your favourite multibanner outfit

 1. Your favourite chocolate shop outfit
