👋Welcome to r/boit -
Just post pics of your cat biting you :)
Anyone else have their nerves moved around?
ORIF on my ankle last week. When I run my fingers on my upper outer calf, I can feel it on my inner ankle. Weeeeird.

Almost every single day for the past five years, I've heard in my head the sound of my cat's leg breaking as my car went over it.
Ever since last Friday, the sound I keep hearing is of my own leg breaking. And I'm thankful that the first sound has been replaced in my mind with this new sound.
It feels right that this happened to me. I'm a little more at peace now than I was before.
So, what's your "how I broke my ankle" story? 👀
reddit.comMy bruise reminds me of those little cups you'd get at the water cooler..
Wells Gray incident on Friday

I just want to give a huge thanks to the people who helped me yesterday in Wells Gray on the Moul Falls trail.
I stepped too far aside for an oncoming hiker, slipped down off the path and landed on top of my leg, apparently snapping my tibia & fibula at the ankle.
So many people stepped in to help me without even giving it a second thought. I can only remember a few of your names now... Alahna & Terry & brother-in-law, Jesse & his mom, Flo, Shabeena? and the rest of your group... Father & Son duo from the Netherlands... Dude with the satellite phone... Cop on the ATV, and the S&R ladies... The EMTs in Clearwater as well. Even people who just stopped to share their water with me.
These hikers banded together to give me first aid, send for help, keep me calm, and carry my dumb ass out of the forest. You guys are freakin SUPERHEROES. I'm just still in awe at how strong and kind and STRONG you all are. Hopefully this post finds you somehow so you can know how thankful I am. I hope you feel absolutely amazing about yourselves. ❤️
PS- if you want an update on me-- I'm currently in the hospital waiting for surgery. Gonna get a couple metal rods & a plate put into my leg
What is this sub?
I've been here for almost a year I think. Joined because I found the theory fascinating to consider. Personally, my philosophy is this: Anything is possible, nothing is surprising. I believe in the possibility of the reality of any idea which can't be proven/disproven. So, I don't believe in anything absolutely. Just that anything may or may not be real/exist. I'm not sure if I'm glad I live with this mindset, or if I wish I could think differently like really truly believe in something wholeheartedly....
But anyways.
I'm just wondering, do most of you guys here fully believe we are living in a simulation, and are you totally living your lives according to that belief? Or are you just here for the *notion of it,* to sort of escape reality into imagination? What is your daily life like? What do you think? Follow-up question: Would you consider yourself mentally ill/unwell? (No judgement from me. I myself would fall into this category. Kinda why I'm asking.)
Thanks
British Columbia Canada, pmu eyeliner removal?
Wondering if there is a place in BC (or Alberta perhaps) that does permanent eyeliner removal?
Thanks
[Product Question] More St Ives apricot scrub discourse!
This post is really just a ponderance that's been on my mind for ages. I am so curious to see what this community has to say. I have a few speculations on what the answers may be, but I'll keep those to myself for now.
Anyways, here's the question:
How is microneedling/ dermarolling (using tiny needles to cause micro-injuries to the skin to stimulate collagen production, renew skin and yada yada yada) a great thing
But
Using St Ives apricot scrub (which apparently causes "micro-tears") is supposedly such a detrimental no-no for our skin? 🤔
A thousand apologies if this has been asked before, and a tremendous thankyou for your time.
