Downvoted for making a mistake and then correcting it?

A person replied to my post saying 'Would you stop dating your partner if they came out as trans (whether it's man/woman, nb, genderfluid, demigender etc).

They said what you see in the screenshot and i replied to their question of idk what it is called a little wrong by saying berrisexual (attraction to mostly feminine people and rarely masculine people).

When it had ten downvotes, I edited and said I was a bit wrong and corrected the term to finsexuality and somehow got 22 more downvotes...? How does that work 😭

Like sorry what was the point of downvoting my corrected statement?? 😭

This person believes that anyone who's talking about hate crimes against gay people is talking about the US ...?

Context:

Original post was a poll asking something along the lines of: Instead of censorship or ad hominem attacks, ideologies that you deem wrong should be defeated through reasoning and evidence. Agree or Disagree?

I reply saying disagree as there is no point trying to logically argue with someone who believes things like 'all gay people should be burned at the stake'.

This user replies saying that nearly nobody thinks that so I confirm it is indeed a hyperbole (which was quite obvious), so they say I need to have some logical argument without the hyperbole which leads to the conversation snippet in the screenshot above.

Not ONCE in the poll, or my comment or in ANY of my replies was the word 'US' or 'United States' mentioned once 😭 I was genuinely baffled at how some people think of the US as a default country or something??

I was taken aback, like wdym my point is that gay people are frequently murdered in the United States?? 😭 I never even mentioned that country, and gay people live outside the United States too. I literally live in Asia 😭🙏🏻.

Anyways, the mental gymnastics someone has to do to bring the US into a conversation without the US mentioned even once is insane.

How do I focus and study for exams?

I'm terrible at focusing and I'm having exams right now and I really need to lock in and start studying but it's just not happening :/ i keep doomscrolling on social media or just talking to people. I'm in 12th grade btw.

This is honestly getting pretty bad for me 😭 I've had to stay up till 5 am to study because I didn't study beforehand and i just want everyone's best ways to focus and study. I also suspect I have ADHD but I can't get it diagnosed till I'm in college unfortunately.

Please drop any good ways to focus! I have tried many methods but they haven't really helped.

Storytime Tea on a girl who has been going around fighting other girls in in a school in our city recently!

Pata Hai Aaj Kya Hua?

(Actually kal hua)

TLDR: A girl has been going around beating other girls up, has even had an FIR lodged against her and she still went ahead and beat up another girl (in public while many students watched) and a video of her fighting went kind of viral on reddit and on Instagram stories and she posted an edit of her fighting and being proud of it (she shouldn't really be), details and some context of the fights given below

There is a girl who used to study in one school in my city, in 8th grade last year, call her A, she got transferred from that school to a different school this year and has to repeat 8th grade because she left before completing 8th grade (possibly).

Now, I have no idea why, but she has recently been going around physically assaulting people aka fighting other girls and even had an FIR placed against her. So here's the storytime,

First, a week or so ago, she barged into a popular coaching institution where english was being taught in the classroom to 10th graders and another girl Y from her previous school was sitting inside. Now, I'm not sure if A had been in the class from the start or went in, in the middle of class but she starts loudly threatening Y and asking her if she will get out of her seat or not. Now, Y doesn't want to because she's being threatened of course.

So A goes in between the benches and starts hitting Y and from the video the most I could discern was that Y had apparently hit her sister or something and she was beating up Y and asking Y to say sorry (literally the only reason for beating, didn't make any sense to me because what's the point of getting a sorry). Now Y starts crying and A keeps beating her, Sir asks a kid to call an aunty from the reception and handle A (she wasn't even a student at the centre). Aunty comes and starts dragging A away but A is still busy beating Y up. The teacher had asked A many times to stop and resolve it outside but A had eyes for no one but Y at that moment.

Now, the aunty snaps and pushes her away and starts yelling at her saying that it's a classroom and class is going on and they take her to the office and the centre files an FIR against her for trespassing and assaulting a student, I believe.

Now, even after all this she still continued beating people up 😭

So yesterday, during dispersal from school (previous school), another 10th grade girl called M, and A were in a small street and many students from that school were surrounding them and taking videos and egging them on asking them to fight and all. The reason for the fight? M told someone something 1 year ago and later rectified herself when she learned it was false (according to her words in the video), A says she doesn't care if it happened 1 year ago or 10 years ago or whenever and starts asking her to say sorry (again what will she do with a sorry?).

Then, they start fighting and everyone else is just looking at them and enjoying themselves and the fight is pretty intense, they're pulling each other's hair and and rolling around and falling over, A then suddenly violently rolls over and gets the upper hand and sits on M and starts choking her yelling at her to say sorry and some people start pulling at A to try and get her off while others are telling them not to do it and to let them continue. Then the video cut off when someone said a guardian had come there.

After this, A posted an *edit* of her fighting the girl?? (Like why are we proud of it 😭 that is a crime and she already has an FIR against her) and just kind of bragged in general. The video went totally viral on everyone's Instagram stories and notes and it started being posted on Reddit in different city subreddits and got a few hundred upvotes in some and quite a few people commenting. Many people posted on their Instagram stories that it's all over Reddit now 😭. And this is the end of the story (wow that was long), anyways if y'all want, you can ask questions or express your thoughts on this topic!

Why do some men feel entitled to women's bodies?

Women are literally saying they are scared to give birth because it wrecks their bodies and even their lives, just to bring an innocent life into a world that is already falling apart and a guy doesn't like that?

This is genuinely ridiculous. Men don't give birth but some of them expect women to give birth as if women are incubators and it's a woman's individual responsibility to be 'keeping humans from going extinct'. It's disgusting how some people feel that women should be forced to give birth.

Art progress from Dec 2022 -&gt; Aug 2026 (no digital art made in between this timespan)

I quit digital art in December of 2022 after 2 years of drawing digitally, because of school, less time for practicing hobbies, finding new hobbies etc. I did draw traditionally during that time (only doodles though or sketches, I don't like making completed artworks). Since then, I've had urges to draw but it peaked this year, so I decided to start again and this is my first piece made in 4 or 5 years. Did I improve?

I did not make a single piece of digital artwork in between these two pieces!

(The first character is a randomized gacha OC I drew, the second one is art for another person and it's their OC)

So, what areas do you guys think I improved in and do you think there is something else I could improve now that I've got back into digital art?
