Honda Civic on the Dempster highway?
Coming to visit, but we have a Honda civic, can we go past whitehorse? Is the Dempster highway possible for a car or is strictly suv/trucks only?

Anywhere to buy that’s cheaper than the dealer?
Do you think it’s worth it?
Travelling to Yukon and doing a backcountry hike, will be camping overnight, although I'm pretty used to camping at BC parks, still a newbie in general and only been doing this a couple years.
I have bear spray, but otherwise what tips do you have to stay safe? even your most obvious tips would be good to know. What's worth carrying up? Is having a gun necessary? Is hanging up food away from the site enough, or do I need a specific container?
What do you wish first timers did better?
I’m curious to learn all the ways people use their boards, sitting on the lake? Yoga? Travelling?
What do you use your board for, and what board do you have?
We are not serious paddlers or anything, although I wouldn't mind leaving that option open. For now, we would use it on the lake, calm days mostly. We are responsible and careful. Both students so we don't have a big budget.
We would want both of us to be able to be on the board, however one of us would just sit down, while the other paddles. Total weight for us both: 350lbs.
Is this the best way to paddle for 2 people? one sits and one stands? Are posted weight limits realistic? Does a manual pump make a big difference? Is there some glaring thing I'm missing before I drop this money?
Extra info:
I'm trying to decide between these 3, but open based on peoples advise.
https://aquamarina.com/products/revolution/ ($350 at costco)
Costco: has an electric pump, has a good warranty / returns if we end up not liking it
Ed's: seems better quality, like to support local, but risk if we don't end up liking it or if there's issues, then we'd be stuck
Decathlon: rated for 2 people, which is better than costco, not sure about warranty etc.
Just out of curiosity what year are you in and what’s your LOC at?
My car came just with all the basic stuff, no dealer extras etc.
What are things to add that will protect it long term, people mentioned an undercoat? Splash guards?
Should I get a donut for a spare?
I want to take care of this car and have it go the long run, give me your best advice on taking care of it. It’s a first vehicle so no advice is too simple.
2026 Prius Plug In Hybrid SE
Considering getting this but I have a few questions:
I live in Canada, I wonder how bad FWD is?
How easy is it to add a roof rack, I’ve only had built in rails in SUV’s how does this one compare?
Also why isn’t there a tire? I’d love to have a spare somehow driving on the rural roads especially.
We are hoping to make this road trip, it involves interior BC/ Northern BC, and Southern Yukon, mostly 5-6 hours of driving and a mix of hotel stays and camping. We haven't driven up this way before, don't know the roads that way.
Has anyone done this trip before? Would a regular SUV be able to make it or do you need a truck? Any advice for first timers? We have camped around the interior and done road trips to AB, just nothing this long or this far up north.

Doesn’t have to be medical! Just want to read something that’s not mandatory for school
What are some fun things to do in Kelowna or within 2 hours driving distance that are suitable for a senior?
Specifically a senior who isn’t super fit, as in can’t go for a hike or swim etc.
$160 for this one at Costco

$199 for this one at Canadian Tire
Using this for car camping, the split wall intrigues me, but is the Costco one seems like it be better for rain?
