Amoxicillin and Cankersores?

Prescribed amoxicillin-clav for a pretty nasty tonsil infection/possible abscess. 24 hours later and I have this nasty - burning canker sore. I have a low-grade fever/ semi normal temp of 99.9 F. I still feel super lethargic. Is this a normal side effect of amoxicillin? Or is this a sign the infection is getting worse? I am also still having pain, taking cough syrup helps, and ibuprofen in between. I was told to go to the ER if it seems like it’s worsening. But I don’t want to go if this is a common side effect of this antibiotic. Thoughts?

Antibiotics and mouth ulcers?

Got prescribed amoxicillin for a tonsillar infection and possible abscess. I have now developed a pretty bad canker sore on my tonsil. I have a temperature of 99.9, and very lethargic. Is this normal after 24 hours of amoxicillin? Or is this a sign that the infection is actually worsening? Told to go to ER if the infection seems worse than before. I am still experiencing some pain, like I swallowed a handful of thumb tacks 🫩

Possible abscess?

Went to urgent care yesterday and got tested for strep which came back negative. They did also do a culture but that won’t come back for 2-3 days. Doctor said it “might” be a tonsillar abscess and sent me home telling me to come back if it gets worse. I woke up with a 100.13° fever. I also have mild pain in my neck and ear on the same side. I cannot afford a 100$ copay again today, so I’m wondering how serious this could be? Will it go away on its own? I wish she had just prescribed me antibiotics since it’s an obvious infection with exudate oozing out of my tonsil. It is only 1 of my tonsils

Rolled my ankle 2 night ago, swollen and feels like a bruise. I can walk on it, but I keep feeling pins and needles in it when resting. Do I need a doc? First pic of the rolled ankle, second of my normal ankle
