Hey y'all I got my prescription updated today with a new doctor who recommended that I get either progressives or bifocals because of how my vision has changed since the last exam I have in my file-not totally surprising imo. My doctors office doesnt offer frames and I need the ADD information BUT thats not on the form for my prescription. All I have is the sphere, cylinder, axis, and boxes for my DIST VA and NEAR VA. My previous eye exams didn't have me in progressives/bifocals so I can't use them as a reference. Any ideas?

Hey yall. I was wondering if yall had any tips/tricks or even product recommendations for when eye makeup doesn’t seem to want to stick around your eyes, particularly the inner corners? Idk if it’s allergies-environmental or otherwise-but every now and then my eyes makeup just WILL NOT want to stay around my eyes, they start getting super watery and the makeup wears off as I’m putting it on. It’s incredibly inconsistent and doesn’t happen all the time

I have a dermatology appointment and I plan to ask if it’s like cosmetic allergies, but lined up but they’re booking into December 2026/January 2027.

Hey yall so this is gonna be a bit of a vulnerable sand and might be kinda gross or a tmi to some people and I’m sorry about that but I’m trying to get back into wearing makeup again in attempt to find the fun I used to have with it again after being in a super rough spot for a while.

I stopped wearing a lot of complexion products a few years ago save for special occasions because to be quite honest I run SUPER warm-with a SSRI/thyroid issue/PCOS/hyperhidrosis trifecta going on I’m often warm to the point of getting a bit/a lot sweaty if moving around a lot. Unfortunately anything that says it’s waterproof/sweatproof or 24hr+ wear tends to not really last on me even when combined with other products. I was wondering if anyone else had similar issues and had any suggestions for products.

Right now, Im specifically looking for a lighter weight tinted moisturizer or foundation-ideally something in the drugstore price range but I know how tricky that can be so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

For comparison/reference, MAC NC 13, About Face F2 Olive, and Hera Reflection Skin Glow 13N1 Porcelain have been really good shade matches for me so far.

I’ve been having SUCH a hard time finding products with the olive undertones in the lighter shade ranges, even some ‘neutral’ shades tend to lean too warm or cool on me and really don’t look like a good match once on.

I'm specifically looking for some more alternative clothing brands-gothic/punky and rave wear. I'm already familiar with the brand Midnight Hour for example and like their pieces, but I dont think their sizing for bottoms includes my sizing if I remember correctly.

Rn the size that tends to fit me is around the 3X/4X-typically a 3X or 22 in shirts 28 in pants.

Hey y’all, I(32 F) graduated college a few years ago in 2023. Shortly before I graduated, my friend group had a falling out with a particular friend (26 F) for what boils down to us finding out that they had lied to us about something we felt was important/a big deal, and that during previous disagreements they had been going around twisting everyones words around to everyone else in the friend group behind their backs to make themselves look/sound better or like more of the victim than they were.

I stopped speaking to them until about a year ago, when-as a courtesy, I reached out to let them know that the pet of someone in the friend group had unexpectedly passed away at the ask of said other friend.

Since then, we’ve been talking occasionally and it really does seem like they’re doing a lot better and in a much better place than they were in when we were friends. Which, genuinely, I’m thankful for-they were incredibly unhappy with their life during the time we were close friends and all I ever wanted for them was to be okay and genuinely taking care of themselves-which it genuinely seems like they are.

HOWEVER, I’ve realized that I’ve inadvertently given them the impression that we are indeed friends again. They invited me out to see them for a significant life event, they routinely try to facetime me out of the blue without asking to see if I’m available to chat, etc. Like I’m not actively angry at them anymore and I by no means wish them any ill will, however I’m not particularly interested in going back to being friends.

I do realize that it’s my fault for giving them the impression that we were indeed friends again, that’s 1000% on me. I just don’t know how to approach the situation and be like ‘hey I appreciate that you’re doing great and all that however I’m not particularly interested in speaking to you on a regular basis’
