Came across a friendly gull that modeled for me

This guy was hanging out on the beach at Assateague Island in Virginia.

Is this repairable or replaceable?

Can this trim/gasket be replaced? It’s at the bottom of the rear window.

Odd shifting between 2nd and 4th

I have a 2019 EXL we bought certified used at around 68k miles going on 3 years ago. Within the first year the fuel injectors and the transmission were replaced. After two good years the transmission is acting up again. At low gears, 2nd to third or third into 4th, I’m observing odd shifting. It’s like the van is being held back or experiencing resistance during shifts. No odd noises though I may have heard a subtle clunk. Current mileage around 103k miles.

Not sure how to demonstrate this to the dealer. The trans has a 3 year/36k mile warranty.

Alerted my condo has no water day before my check in

Condo in Isla Verde has instituted water rationing to two hours a day. Owner wiling to refund. We went through this a week ago but water was restored. Am at a loss of what to do. I can get a refund and the airline will credit us. It was a family vacation to celebrate our kids graduation.

Do the hotels have better water situation? Maybe i can find a last minute booking?

Family trip/first time

My family of 5 (three young adults) are headed to the island on Monday. Flying back on the 4th. We’re staying at a condo in Isla Verde. I want beach time as does my wife. We plan to venture into Old San Juan and explore the vicinity. Not renting a car for now. What are the must see sights? If you had a top 3 recommendation, what would it be?

Restored my Silver C

I’ve had this grill for over 20 years. I bought it used off of Craigslist for $75. Took it apart down to the frame. Power washed everything. Used high heat matte and gloss spray paint. 3D printed wheel inserts using PTGE filament. Coated the handles and side tables with 303 Protectant. I replaced the catch pan, burner tubs and flavorizer bars. I replaced the grease catcher a few years ago.

Water Situation Isla Verde

We have 5 days booked at a condo in Coral Beach Towers on Avenida Isla Verde. We are scheduled to arrive on the 29th. Just like everyone else , the water outages are concerning. Since our stay will be in mostly in that part of the island, I assume conditions will impact more than our Airbnb? Assessing if I should begin the refund process?

Birdfy feeders any good?

I see Birdfy feeders advertised on instagram a lot. They look nice and have multiple options like wood, bamboo, plastic and metal. Any real world experience out here?

Should I avoid buying and 2015+ Outback with over 100k miles?

My budget is $13-$14. I like the look of the Outback, the size and the AWD. The higher ride height is also nice because its becoming more difficult to get out of my 2014 Mazda 3 hatchback. The extra cargo inside and roof rack would come in handy for camping trips. This would be my daily driver but my commute is very short. Giving our minivan a break for long trips would be nice. I've only looked at 3.6R options but should I consider 2.5i trims? I’d be buying in cash.

What are I look for with a used Outback

I’m looking for a new daily driver and am considering an Outback. Want to spend no more than $14k and as close to or under 100k miles. Requesting advice on what to be looking for at this mileage and recommended model years. I appreciate it. I’m located in South Eastern PA

Title should read “what should I look for…”

Burner adjustment recommendations

I’m rehabbing my Genesis Silver C and tested the new burners. The burners are on high in this video and can see they are not equal. Is the front burner too high? Not sure if the yellow flames are ideal. Looking for recommendations to adjust and equalize. Thanks!
