Just merc'd 2 spotted lantern flies on my deck this morning.
Haven't really seen many this year so far. These were the first I think.

x.comExporting results from one node across each step in simulation?
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
Granted I have not fooled around with simulation in some time, and even then it was mostly static. I have a non-linear study that is essentially a tension test, and I have 100 steps of the simulation as it travels X distance each time.
I want to take one of the nodes and just track/plot the resultant stress at that one node over each step (preferably as CSV so I can plot it later).
Why is this workflow so cumbersome and difficult? Short of recording it manually via the probe for each step, I cannot see a way do achieve this for some reason.

ONLY 7 DAYS LEFT TO DISAFFILIATE
This affords us the ability to vote in the democrat primaries and make sure antigun candidates do not even make it to the ballot for the general (of which you can still obviously vote however you like).
This is CRUCIAL in statewide races like for AG where we NEED Joe Solomon to beat Jason Knight (AWB author) and all other contenders.
There are also a lot of progun democrats that need our support like newcomer and Women for Gun Rights chapter leader Vanessa Lopez challenging antigun Meghan Kallman up in Pawtucket/PVD, and a number of others that deserve our support.
If you need a quick check - look at how the house voted for the AWB and how the senate voted. The folks in Red deserve your support regardless of the letter next to their name.
This is one of THE MOST powerful things we can do as a community. There are conservatively speaking over 150k gun owners in RI, the real number is likely closer to 200k. That is one of the largest voting demographics in the state.
We can be a force to be reckoned with, but we just need to show up.
Disaffiliate today. Get your spouse to disaffiliate, your family. These votes matter! Oftentimes the democrat primary is the only actual vote you will get since many of them are running unopposed or the fact that a Republican will never win that district. This is important.
Vote like your rights depend on them, because they do.
The legislature will most certainly try to pass a Viramontes response bill much like how many states passed bills in response to Bruen, complicating and making lives more difficult for law abiding citizens in direct defiance of what the SCOTUS said. We cannot let that happen.

I've got him setup next to my snapmaker 2 in a generic heat bot and my regular 2d printer. Needed to access the other printer there and don't have a ton of room in my office so I modeled up and made an extended mounting bracket for the spool holder. Need to figure out a more elegant solution to the mounting of things, but I have no immediate intentions of running multicolor prints or multi-filament prints, so this will work for now.
My main reason for getting this guy was to print better resins like PA6/12 and PETG, which should be possible on the snapmaker, but I'd rather leave him to just PLA and then use the AIO laser/cnc stuff. I've got a tiny monprice mini and a tiny 3018 CNC underneath the snapmaker in that ikea lack tower setup.
I've 4 rolls of PETG ready to go and am looking forward to getting sorted.

Current legal analysis and understanding (NOT LEGAL ADVICE)
docs.google.comAnd now for some unfortunate news... re: lowers
I've spoken with a few trusted folks, names you would recognize if you are in this community or pay attention to politics, and I have some unfortunate news. I am sharing this because I don't want anyone to get in trouble.
It is very likely that we will not be able to transfer lowers or AR/AK pistols going forward, and from what I understand many FFLs' counsels have said as much as well.
The argument is that while yes - perfectly legal for us to make AR pistols, or Non-NFA AOWs, or what not with them with the law as written, the AG is claiming it violates the spirit of the law and is literally foaming at the mouth waiting to make an example out of someone for this.
Some shops have said previously they will still stock pistols and lowers, but news comes breaking from earlier this week.
Yes - we would ultimately likely win as the law is written, but the process is the punishment, and even those with deep pockets are seemingly unwilling to do so. "You will lose everything" was what was said. That is a significant perceived legal risk. You'll beat the wrap, but you won't beat the ride, the process IS the punishment.
Peter Neronha has already expressed displeasure with how little enforcement and arrests the mag ban has been getting, and this looks like it will be his swan song.
The good news is all of your lowers purchased 7/1 pre-ban should be fine to configure as you like. The problem will be getting new lowers or AR pistols or Dracos or what not.
I hope I'm misinformed, but I doubt it unfortunately.
The silver lining - we should not have to worry about this for much longer by this time next year as the SCOTUS will have rules in Viramontes in our favor, but even sooner so - when we make sure we put an AG who isn't openly hostile to the 2A (someone like Joe Solomon on the (D) side (who voted against the mag ban and AWB) or Alan Gordon on the (R) side) we should be able to get an opinion letter clarifying this shortly after they are sworn in.
This is why it is SUPER IMPORTANT that we all DISAFFILIATE so that we can vote for Solomon in the dem primary so no matter who wins the general we have an AG who is not openly hostile to the 2A like Nehronha is.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news on this, and I hope I am wrong or misinformed or that someone will have the balls and the pockets to stand up to this, but I believe we are in a holding pattern for a little while on this one folks. I only say this all because I don't want anyone (FFL or individual) to get in trouble or jammed up over this.
None of the above is legal advice nor constitutes any legal advice or attorney-client relationship. IANAL. Seek your own legal counsel if you wish.
This is my current understanding based on conversations with several sources. I have not seen formal guidance from the Attorney General's office confirming this position, and doubt there ever will be any.
We are working on one or two more things regarding the AWB then we are 100% focused on election season folks. We need to keep fighting.
