Glazing Technique Questions

Hello Potters! There's this ceramic artist (@dontyuckmyyum.studio) who's glaze work I adore. They have a glazing workshop but it's sold out!

Any ideas how to make designs like this where there's still the shape of the image but it's also faded/the glaze moves a bit. I'm wondering if it's just a matter of using a stencil/wax resist and pairing it w/ glazes that run a bit. Any suggestions welcomed (including similar glazes you think will work well for this idea)!

What do you love about growing sunflowers or sunflowers in general?

This is my first year growing sunflowers and I had a giant 12ft tall one and other 10ft ones with lots of blooms. I got the seeds from an acquaintances garden and they turned out different from the ones she had last year.

I love the surprise in colour, height and blooms each year due to cross-pollination. They're so majestic and I get this wave of delight and almost humbleness(?) to be in their presence. And I love watching the bees visit them.

So I'm curious why others love growing them or love them in general. What varieties bring you the most joy?

Oyster variety?

[Southern Ontario, Canada]

I found these on a dead log with some turkey tails. It looks different than the oysters I normally find so I'm unsure. These ones have more of a frilly edge whereas I'm used to a smoother edge and cap.

Any thoughts what this may be? / Are these angel wings?

Zucchini turning yellow and shriveling

I live in Southern ontario and I've been growing zucchini for a few years now. This year for some reason my zucchini would get polinated and then shrivel up shortly after at the end and turn yellow. It's sprouting a lot of leaves though.

I read that maybe it might lack calcium so I've added bone meal to the soil and it would produce maybe one or two zucchini and then shrivel again.

The plantain beside it is for scale to show how large it would get before shriveling up. Sometimes it shrivel up before it even gets this big.

Would love to know any suggestions or ideas on what to do!

Aggressive territorial cat to another cat

TDLR: cat bullying another cat

I have a 5y/o female cat (M) and recently a new roommate moved in with an 8y/o female cat. M is curious to be friends with M and has lived with cats before. T hasn't lived with other cats. Both are spayed.

T is often hissing at humans and running away. It's been 3 months of M and T living together and T has become increasingly territorial (blocking M from my bedroom/her safe space, coming into my room to eat her food and use her litter box, swatting and hissing at her). M has been quite stressed so she started peeing in my bed to avoid using the litter box in the living room. I temporarily moved the litter box in my room so it's easier access for her.

We didnt have much of a slow intro other than T was in my roommate's room for one or two weeks before T was allowed to wander the home.

My roommate will be living here for another 8 months at least so looking for any ideas to reduce the aggression and handle this situation. We're located in Canada and both have access to vets.
