Earlier this year, my father sadly passed away after an accident, leaving our family in a difficult financial situation. I also replaced my old phone after it became unusable due to battery issues, but the part-time job I relied on to pay for it unexpectedly fell through.

Hi! I'm about to graduate soon and currently working as a freelancer whenever I can get projects.

I don't know if there's someone out there who's willing to lend me money. Ilang beses na kasi akong na-ghost, and it's honestly frustrating. Yung iba, they even promised to lend me money, then suddenly disappeared after I provided my personal details, especially my ID.

I need ₱10,000 mainly because I have a commitment with Salmon, the lending company. I recently got a new phone last May because I was hired as a Marketing Staff. Unfortunately, when payday came, they ghosted me. I trusted them and their company, but after everything, ganun na lang nangyari. It was only a part-time job, but I was really hoping it would help. I also decided to upgrade my phone because my old one had already given up on me. The battery was already broken, and it would suddenly shut down while I was using it, making it unreliable for work, communication, freelancing, and job applications.

On top of that, my father got into an accident and sadly passed away earlier this year. Since then, we've been completely broke. I also still have unsettled graduation-related fees, including my graduation pictorial.

I have siblings, but they also have their own financial responsibilities, so they can't really help me. My mother is a housewife who takes care of my niece, so we basically don't have any stable source of income. Even in school, I wasn't able to qualify for a scholarship despite studying for four years. There were so many expenses—laboratory fees, thesis expenses, and other school requirements. Ang hirap kapag wala kayong generational wealth.

I'm still doing my best to earn online by accepting editing tasks and other freelance projects or errands pa yan whenever I can, but the opportunities are inconsistent and the income isn't enough. I also recently applied to BPO companies and got rejected twice, but I'll keep trying because I know that's the only way I'll eventually get back on my feet.

My late father's company and the case being handled by our attorney are still ongoing, so we don't know when we'll receive the money we're rightfully owed. Until then, I'm doing everything I can to stay afloat.

I sincerely hope someone can lend me a helping hand without expecting anything bad or sexual in return. I promise I'll repay the money, even if I can only pay little by little. I just need someone to give me a chance to get through this difficult time.
