Oneonta trip ideas?

Hello everyone!! I need ideas for a 3-day visit to the area, midweek early Sept., celebrating turning 50. We are definitely seeing Cooperstown and are very interested in Howe Cavern (unless people think that Secret cavern is better?) I'd like at least 1-2 more activities. I'd say local or up to an hour travel from either. (We haven't locked in a hotel, and would be willing to stay in 2 places if needed).

Light activity is great (walking hikes, not climbing). We love views, whether it's a waterfall, valley, even a dark spot to see some stars. Museums, out-of-the-box fun ideas, a local theater (not expecting this on midweek/ short notice), cool castle, walkable main street, etc.

No: bars/ clubs (wine tasting is fine), amusement parks/ ziplines, probably no watersports.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Kohls, you suck. These are not even *close* to the same size.

Identical 3x shirts, only difference is the color.

The joke was lost on me... (what was yours?)

As someone with real life face blindness/ prosopagnosia, I appreciated Marky Bark not recognizing Lindsay in a way that most people will never understand. The jokes are hilarious, but they are ABSOLUTELY real.

I just found out today that it's because her appearance is supposedly incredibly different in season 4. (facepalm) Kinda just fell back on the old "she sounds/ moves/ is shaped like Lindsay" and I never picked up on the joke.

So what jokes did you not realize until you read a comment here?

Suggestions for repair of chair? (No ironing, please)

Office chair, the person is away and it would be a nice surprise. I'm thinking hand-sewn, because I don't know if I can iron here and i'm afraid a sticky patch won't stick to the foam.

So what kind of material would hold up, and do you think going underneath and then stitching at least 1/2" past the rips (a little further on the left worn part) would be enough?

NJ- insanely tall weed?

A few of these were growing in the hibiscus on the right. All were at least 5-6' tall, this one has to be closer to 8' (person is roughly 5'9"). This could be up to 3 months growth (the owner was away for medical care), and like a dummy i didn't think to get close-up photos.

A weed, or did I kill a vegetable?

NJ, USA. I pulled this out of the back corner when weeding, but i'm confused by the flowers, which look like a nightshade.

If it's a vegetable, the seeds had to be dropped by a passing chipmunk. (We tried growing some different kind of eggplant and bell peppers around there years ago, but I can't see a zombie seed springing up after 15 years).

Looking for a good 42-43" tv under $500.

Hello everyone, thanks for reading. We need a tv for a small living room. I'm assuming LED, since the room is kind of bright, but we sit past a 30% viewing angle sometimes, and still have some static pictures (edit: including constant subtitles) that make burn in a concern (I've seen mixed reviews).

I'm hoping for not too much bloatware, and a budget under $500 if possible.

I broke my cat by training him. Now what do I do?

I've spent the past 2 months training this handsome boy to play dead for a treat. With old tricks, he'd do them as soon as i showed him a treat. But for this, it's CONSTANT. He rolls. He taps me. He meows. He lifts himself and drops again.

I've cut the treats down to offering kibble instead (he's thrilled, because orange), loudly praising him (he repeats the lift/ drop), scratching his chin for a bit every time, but he will keep throwing himself down looking for treats.

Now he falls asleep upside down, because he gives up on me after 10+ minutes of the theatrics. It's adorable, but I think his little brain is broken, because he doesn't stop.

How do I get him to tone it down a bit?

Which school loan should we pay down first?

FAFSA college loans, and any student aid we get goes towards paying them down (I also try to add when possible). We're paying off the one i co-signed first, then these 3 are left.

All loans are in-school deferred (student is 20/ starting junior year), all fixed interest/ same term length.

Loan 1: $5,500 subsidized, 6.39%

Loan 2: $2,030 unsubsidized, 6.39%

Loan 3: $4,500 subsidized, 6.53%

Thank you for any answers and advice!!
