STOP using over priced PROTEIN-OATS!! Eat this instead!! 2x protein for Half the Price!! Make smarter choices!!

A lot of people nowadays are eating protein oats for breakfast and while there is nothing wrong with doing so, the issue is that most companies are just scamming people in the name of protein and charging absurd amounts of money for Sub-par ingredients.

Most protein oats available in India at an average cost minimum 400rs per kg and give you 25g protein per 100g alongwith extra unwanted unnecessary added sugar for roughly 375 calories.

The issue is that most of the protein comes from soy flour and while nothing is wrong with that, the thing is that if you purchase normal oats and a soy protein isolate powder separately, it costs the fraction of the price and tbh you never know what quality protein these companies are using to make their oats but you can always purchase a good quality trustified soy isolate for under 900 rs per kg.

Cost breakdown of normal rolled oats + soy isolate vs protein oats

1 kg rolled oats cost an average of 175 rs per kg (125g protein) and as of now astis company soy isolate (trustified) costs 900 rs per kg (900g protein). So you are getting 1025g protein for 1075 rs.

This is almost 1 rs per gram of protein.

1 kg oats is roughly 3800 calories and 1 kg soy isolate is 4000 calories.

So you're getting 1025g protein for 7800 calories and 0 added sugar.

On the other hand, for getting this amount of protein from your so called protein oats, you need 4kg of it which will cost you minimum 1600 rs and will give you 15000 calories which is double the calories from normal oats + soy isolate. It will also give you roughly 100g of added sugar minimum.

The numbers are in front of you now. Choose wisely.

PS: UPDATED QUALIFICATION FOR RAIN AFFECTED MATCH MI VS RR 07.04.2026

  • Minimum 6 balls. Why? 11 over match is 55% of a 20 over match. So 55% of 11 balls = 6 balls.
  • Strike rate less than or equal to 145. Broke down 128 into 100 + 28, then normalised it as 28*1.55 +100 = 143.4 approximated to next multiple of 5 = 145 (1.55 because 55% more and 55 justification is already given in previous rule)
  • Rest other rules the same
  • Rain affected match between KKR and PBKS on 06.04.2026 is not eligible because KKR didn’t know that the match will be called off and also there was no result in this match.

WEEK 1 = 13 tributes in 11 matches

WEEK 2 = 14 tributes in 8 matches

WEEK 3 = 20 tributes in 9 matches

WEEK 4 = 13 tributes in 9 matches

WEEK 5 = 9 tributes in 8 matches

HONOURABLE MENTIONS (WEEK 5) - Close contenders for week 5 who unfortunately could not make it into the list – Missed it by a very small margin

  1. Prabhsimran Singh – 59(44) – 28.04.2026 – Started well and was looking good to make a real entry to the list but unfortunately a few 4s back to back ruined it. But still even after that, only 2 ball difference!
  2. Naman Dhir – 22(17) – 29.04.2026 – SR 129.41 in a 243 match – Just one ball/run difference – If it was a 21(17) or a 22(18), it would have been a real entry to the list!
