So my Cancer ex-girlfriend broke it off with me about three weeks ago and wanted to remain friends. We hung out last Saturday for most of the day doing some shopping and lunch. During lunch and shopping she dropped some subtle hints testing to see if I wanted her around as a friend or romantically, but I didn't really bite just responded with humour. Next morning she wakes up and sends a text to me thanking me for shopping and lunch and giving me details of her evening as she was dealing with a cold. We texted back and forth and then it abruptly ended after I responded humorously again about going on a walk together like old times. Haven't heard from her since.

Has she gone back in her shell because I didn't respond the way she hoped or because she is afraid of losing me or does she really regret breaking up with me?

My Cancer girlfriend of 6 months seems to be overtired and in a crabby mood and has barely talked to me in two days. Is this a normal reaction to being overtired and overwhelmed? Feel like she is slipping away a bit.
