“Ambientes Vol. 1” is an EP featuring five soundscapes born from improvisation and experimentation with effects pedals and digital tools.

Description:

Improvisation is a constant in our existence; sometimes we seek it out, and other times we simply have no choice but to surrender to it.

We may wander aimlessly for the sheer pleasure of it, or because some unseen weight upon our shoulders quietly urges us on. Amid the chaos of city life, whether by whim or necessity, we often find ourselves in places we never knew we were searching for.

These compositions emerged from those aimless walks. Though I did not know where they would lead, I knew they would take me somewhere, and that along the way I would learn something new.

Much like life.

I just wanted to share this tribute I made to "On The Run" - I hope you enjoy it.

This is my remix of "1 Ghost I" by Nine Inch Nails. The base ambience is the original piano processed through a "Vitral" reverb by Paradox Effects & an Echosystem delay by Empress. I hope you enjoy it.

When I saw them in the Vive Latino festival back in 2014 they started with A Warm Place and then Somewhat Damaged. My cover is heavily inspired in the way Alessandro Cortini performed it.

For those gear geeks out there; I programmed the synths with an Akai MPC one+ with its stock plugins, and the guitars were recorded in Logic Pro 10 with a Katana Gen3 Amplifier by Boss. The bass was recorded direcly to interface.
