we have a swim spa in our home for about 10 years , the spa is inside and i have come across this issue twice , the filter towers where the pleated filters screw into have broken , the male receptacle on the bottom the filter screws into broke off . first about 3 years ago one broke . i called endless abd they said impossible to replace , so i drained pool sanded both plastic ends and reattached the male end coupler using permeatex h2 marine epoxy and then i sat a 20lb dumbbell on top of coupler to allow to cure ! has been perfect !
just this past weekend the other side came off when i went to do a filter change! same process and again success!
wondering if others with any type of spa have had similar issue due to the rocking/vibration of the filter within the sleeve , or is it mire prone in spa like pool where when the swim current is really flowing it causes more turbulent water flow throw that tube!
either way let it no known it can repaired by epoxy and a homeowner , i did empty below the level so it was dry even though the epoxy says ok to be used under water!

1/2 day to drain , big pool small pump lol!
few hours to dry and prep !
over night curing and 1/2 to fill and now almost back to temp !

since i am few years into conceal carryng i was wondering since we are all too consumed thnking we are printing and being noticeable , do any of you like me seem to be looking more cloesly at others and trying to see if they infact are also carryng ?

i mean i don't undress people with my eyes lol, but i find myself being mre observant on subtle signs lie adjusting the wasitband of a pants , tuggng at t-shirt , and the cross body bags of diff varieties.

just wondering if i am alone in this ?

for years my wife has been trying to convince my in-laws the benefits and convenience of having a bidet type seat in their home.. as they are older and having some health issues we have been more insistent on getting it ..

so I had an electrician go over there to add a gfi to area by the toilet.( I am in NY and they are inFLA ) , I then ordered the apha bidet to their home and since my work schedule would not allow me to get there I asked my 26 year old daughter who has watched and assisted me in installing the ones we use .. she is always hanging wiht me when I do things..plus here and my wife were goin there this weekend to see them already scheduled as it is important forty wife to try and see them as much as possible so almost monthly they go down ..I stay home to work and pay of the trips lol

I got the same one she has in her bathroom and showed her the steps and reasoning about install and she took photos of hers so apples to apples when she got there

well she FaceTimesd me while she was doing and it and in about 30 minutes the had it up and running and no leaks her first real home DIY project herself other than putting some odd and ends furniture things like that together ..moounted the remote where in-laws wanted wiht two command strips and they were over the moon ..

mother in-law texted me saying my father in-law was almost late for dialysis because he was sitting on toilet for soo long lol .. said I should have purchased one with reservoir of hot water then he would run out and the cold water would make him leave abruptly ... she laughed and thanked me again .. I said least I could do for all the things you have done for us over the 30 plus years ,,

most time consuming was aligning the seat on the bracket to sit flush wiht rim of toilet ( she like me is prefectonist) ,

best off my in-laws called me and thanked me for taking care of it , and said they were super impressed wiht my daughter .. I said stating the obvious loll

so point of story is those on the fence thinking about tackling this project please do it and you will be so happy and rewarded for the effort.. adding electric from either fixture in bathroom above or adjacent should be no more than 200$ by any reputable electrician ..

hope this entices someone to move ahead .. and alpha jx, ux are phenomenal for the price point and no issues

trying to create new build out of some slides and grips I ave for p365 and wondering if anyone here on longisalnd has an extra fcu lying around fro face to face transfer at a convenient FFL .. im in Nassau but will travel thanks in advance and apologize if not allowed

recently was scammed from online GAFS for few bucks so trying local before new or complete basic p365 to part out and recoup money

anyone have any update on the prime radian collab actually hitting the streets ? initially march then April now im assuming in MAY the delay is expected and could be for two reasons I could think

1 they are producing enough to have available on initial release to avoid the cc9 fiasco

2 there were some reliability or manufacturing issues they wanted to clear up before mass release..

any insight from people in the know

got a two pack from that amazing place and installed on wife's new coupe to help wiht finger print and potential nail scratches .. wiped with glass cleaner and micro fiber ,. aligned it and let it work its way on using the top edge as guide , there is a top and bottom so pre lay it first to align wiht curves.. then squeeze any bubbles top to bottom along the glass.. I guess have some practice with three women in my house that continually crack the protector on their phones so I have some practice lol.. just thought I would share .
