I own a shit ton of Cult Gaia and was a loyal buyer until October 2023. I was a loyal fan ever since they went viral for their Ark Bag in 2016 — a bag I own in every size and variation. Cult Gaia bags, accessories and clothes were staples in my summer wardrobe.

Cult Gaia is owned by Iranian-Zionist Jasmin Larian Hekmat, who is the daughter of Isaac Larian, the founder of Bratz.

I had no knowledge of her views when I first started buying Cult Gaia bags in 2016, and I stopped supporting her brand after learning she supports an apartheid state. Not only has she shared Zionist propaganda, but she also supports and has tried to justify Israel’s ongoing oppression of Palestinians. This did not start on October 7, 2023. Israel has participated in the occupation, oppression, and displacement of Palestinians for almost 8 decades.

To further add to her lack of morals, she also supports Reza Pahlavi, the former Crown Prince of Iran. You can hope and pray Iran is free from their own oppressors and also not support these Pahlavi puppets. Imagine supporting the deplorable Pahlavi family, who publicly celebrated Iranians being bombed and hoped for more bombs to drop all over Iran and think that's how you'll free Iran! Diaspora Persians like Jasmin as they like to call themselves (because claiming to be Iranian doesn't fit their aesthetics), claim to support human rights and women's right to not wear a hijab, but when you ask them about nuns, they suddenly go quiet. To these diaspora Persians, women being allowed to wear bikinis and revealing clothing in public is freedom.

I wanted to include a video of Jasmin talking about her business and design practices, but I am currently unable to find the video. The reason why I wanted to share this particular video is due to the fact that she happily admitted to [taking] design ideas from different cultures and “making them better.” I have since learned that Cult Gaia’s Ark Bag was inspired by Japanese bamboo picnic bags from the 1930s. If you don't find anything wrong with that colonial mentality, you're part of the problem.

Being Jewish and practicing Judaism does not mean you automatically support Zionism. Criticizing Zionism and Israel is not antisemitic.

If we are to believe Heart-less’ claims that she gets paid 2 million pesos per fashion show she attends, well, one can argue that she accepted dirty money from an apartheid supporter.

If we are to believe Heart-less is a “sold-out Queen” she and Team Heartworms will help contribute to the genocide in Palestine as the Larian family proudly donates to the IDF. Yeah, you kultos can argue that I (and anyone else who purchased Cult Gaia and Bratz) have also contributed in the past, but at least one/some of us is/are trying to correct the wrongs and learn.

And if you think this is not relevant or does not concern you, I hope you educate yourself and realize that the same could happen in the Philippines or wherever you live. Well, technically it has already started in places like Siarago. The Philippine government is too weak and scared of the United States to deny Israeli visas. They are going to keep travelling and living in the Philippines. They will exploit Filipinos trying to earn an honest living. They will ruin the land, the environment and culture. Before you know it, it's not your land anymore. Filipinos need to stop catering to foreigners' interests and protect the land and people.

I don’t expect much, nor was I surprised by Heart-less’ appearance, nor will I be surprised by Team Heartworms’ support, but I do expect better from people on this board.
