Rural Odisha: where the weather has more mood swings than people. 🌧️😭

Captured near Devekund, Udala (Mayurbhanj). Started the day with clear skies, and within a few hours it looked like the monsoon had taken over. Rural Odisha never fails to surprise. ❤️

Why this is so accurate!😭?

I swear every cat owner starts with:

"I wasn't even looking for a cat..."

and ends with:

"This is my son." 😭🐱

The most permanent unfollow in history.😭✌🏼

Did I commit a crime by choosing Arts? 😭

No hate to Science students. I know not everyone is like this.

But why do some people act as if choosing Arts automatically means you're less intelligent or have no future? 😭

I'm from an Arts background and I've personally met people who immediately start judging the moment they hear that. It's like choosing Arts was some kind of illegal activity.

Has anyone else experienced this, or is it just me?😭✌🏼

Why are Indians so obsessed with government jobs, even when someone wants a different career

Currently in my first year of graduation and honestly feeling very confused about my career.

I was genuinely interested in Data Engineering and tech roles, and even started learning . But my brother keeps telling me it's impossible for someone from an Arts background. Over time, I started doubting myself and even regretting not taking Science, even though I know I can't change the past.

Now my family keeps pushing government exams. One day it's one exam, the next day it's another, or simply "give every exam you can." The advice keeps changing and I'm completely lost about what direction to take.

I . don't have my own laptop yet. Whenever I wanted to learn or practice something, I had to use my brother's or sister's laptop Sometimes I feel like I should just get any job first, become financially independent, and then figure out what I really want to pursue.

Has anyone else been stuck between family expectations, government exam pressure, and their own interests? How did you handle it?

Telegram Banned, But Won't Most People Just Use a VPN?

Telegram gets banned.

VPN apps: "This is our moment."

Jokes aside, do people really think a Telegram ban will stop paper leaks when anyone can install a VPN in two minutes? Shouldn't the focus be on catching the people leaking the papers instead?

What do you guys think?

ST candidate (6/5/8, Arts, 2nd year) planning to prepare seriously for CAT in next 2 years — need honest advice

Hi everyone,

I’m 18 (M), currently in 2nd year of my graduation (Arts background). Myquals academic profile is 6/5/8,9 (expected in graduation), and I belong to the ST category.

I’m planning to prepare seriously for CAT over the next 2 years and aim for a good IIM.

I wanted honest advice on:

\\- Is my profile realistic for top IIMs?

And what about placement

\\- How much percentile should I realistically target considering my category?

\\- What should I focus on apart from CAT (profile building, internships, etc.)?

I’m ready to work hard, but I want to follow the right strategy from the beginning instead of wasting time.

Any practical advice or roadmap would really help.

IAS Officer Caught Red-Handed Taking ₹10 Lakh Bribe, Suspended, Now Reinstated by Odisha Govt

Is Corruption Really Punished in Odisha?

An IAS officer who was arrested in a bribery case was suspended and has now been reinstated. Cases like this make many people question accountability and transparency in the system.

What are your thoughts on this decision? Does it affect public trust in government institutions?

Baripada Rath Yatra is growing every year. What should be improved?

I recently visited the Rath Yatra preparations in Baripada and it got me thinking.

Baripada's Rath Yatra has a unique identity and a lot of cultural importance. Every year, many people come to see the celebration and the atmosphere is amazing.

At the same time, I feel there is always room for improvement, whether it's crowd management, cleanliness, parking, lighting, facilities for visitors, or anything else.

If you could improve one thing about Baripada Rath Yatra, what would it be? And what do you think the organizers are already doing well?

Would love to hear different opinions from locals and visitors.

Got too many organic mangoes from our backyard tree. What should I do with them besides eating them all day? 🥭

We have a mango tree at home and this year it produced a lot of mangoes. They're completely organic and home-grown.

I've been eating mangoes every day and honestly I'm getting tired of them now 😭.

Looking for ideas on what else I can do with them.

Mango shake, aamras, pickle, jam, drying them, gifting them to neighbours, donating them, anything creative?

What would you do if you suddenly had a mountain of free organic mangoes?
