Thoughtful gesture & gift advice to support sister's first newborn

Hi! My sister and BIL are having their first child. My parents are retired and going to stay with them immediately after and my mom is sticking around to help for a few weeks. I work full time so I can't offer the same gift of time (plus she doesn't want a bunch of visitors at first). She's been "nesting" aka meal prepping frozen meals and my mom is also bringing food. I plan to get them a DoorDash gift card, but I wanted to send my mom with a little basket of things for them. Any ideas of thoughtful gestures or items that helped you most?

I am not a reader but want to be so bad! Help me find a book that holds my very short attention!

I've given a lot of books a chance, but there are only a handful where I can't put down. Those consist of:
- Where the Crawdads Sing
- The Notebook
- Dog's Journey / Purpose series
- 7 Husbands (took months to get there, but once I was half way through it got good)
- Hotel Nantucket

Books I've tried but just can't:
- Beach Read
- Lessons in Chemistry
- QOTAR

Y'all how are we getting up early? I want to be a morning person so bad!

....but getting out of bed is SO hard. Like I'm a completely different person when I have to get up and I'm still tired. Like I get pissed at my dog and that's my BABY. But If I could get up at 5am, I'd have a whole entire day before I have to sign on to work around 9am! It sounds sooo great in theory and I can pump myself up to do it when I go to bed and when my alarm goes off...nope!

Cat Diarrhea

My 5 y/o indoor cat has been having diarrhea in and out of the litter box for days now. There were no changes in his food. To help keep him hydrated, I'm only feeding him wet food (usually he gets both wet and dry) and switched him to a sensitive stomach formula. He's eating and acting normal other than the ongoing rhea. This has happened a couple of years ago (except he was also throwing up) and I spent $800 on vet labs and everything came back normal. At what point should I be worried? What may have caused this? What will stop this?

Shitty sleep and anxious as hell

I'm only a week in at 0.8mg. 36 yo female here. I've been taking it at night. First few nights were fine and then I went to no sleeping and super anxious. Anyone else experience these side effects? Do they go away?

Bump near eye - help

Obviously I'm going to the vet this week, but it's 11pm on a Sunday and I'm super anxious about this right now. It's gotten larger pretty rapidly over the course of a few weeks. It looks like his typical old man, non cancerous bumps but he's never had one on his face before and this is near his eye. Any positive words of encouragement to help me sleep tonight or is this something I should truly be worried about? Hard to get a good pic but it's light colored and hard. Doesn't seem to affect him whatsoever when I touch it. anyone experience anything similar??

How long does it take to kick in?

I just started taking 0.8 mg. I'm on my 4th day. I take it in the evening at 8pm. So far, I haven't noticed a difference. I've been on my period so maybe that's why? No difference in appetite or food noise

How do you know if you just need a break or a change? Or both?

I lead a department within my company. The company I'm at is pure chaos and I've managed to create peace within the little bubble I can control, but it's so taxing on me. I'm sick of dealing with ambiguity, curve balls, chaos. I've felt this burnout at every company I've been at. How do I know if it's just me/how my brain operates or the career or company I'm at?

Extraordinary 10th birthday celebration ideas

This is my baby angel Tyrone! My best friend. My adventure partner. Photo taken this evening on our walk. He'll be 10 in December and I want to celebrate big (but not break the bank). We have flown all over the country to hike throughout the years. Any recs for places to visit within the US or CA that are dog friendly? Any ideas in general come to mind for an extra special birthday?? I originally wanted to do the golden retriever fest in Scotland but I don't think they do that anymore?? Then I was thinking Alaska but not sure if that's the best time of year. Would love to hear your bucket list ideas
