Been playing dreamcast since 2001. Here's the games currently in my collection

Not pictured are Under Defeat and Karous, which are in a different box. A bizarre thing is that I managed to buy under defeat for 25$ years ago because the previous owners house flooded and partially ruined the cover and manual (the disc was submerged in the flood water too apparently but you wouldn't be able to tell, it looks and works fine).

I've also owned several other games over the years like Evolution 2, Grandia 2, cosmic smash, head hunter, plasma sword, kikaio, Giga Wing 1+2, bangai o, super magnetic neo, crazy taxi, power Stone 1, gun lord, sturmwind, unreal tournament, and maybe a few others, but they got sold on over the years to help fund new dreamcast/vintage game purchases.

Everything in the box here is original except for propeller arena, which is a fan made package on cdr since the game never actually came out. I even bought some of this stuff new from stores back in the day, like paying $50 for Sonic Shuffle oof (actually I like this game though some of the popular criticism is definitely valid)

Remember this one being a big deal for a little while there

The box is absolutely iconic.

Testing my dreamcast after some years of non use

Always nervous the gdrom drive won't work, but glad to see it's still going!

Some shareware disks of my childhood

Here's my good old collection from 30+ years ago of shareware mail order disks. This was mostly how my family bought software in the early 90s before the Web got more widespread in the mid 90s making the mail order disk business mostly obsolete. Here's some pics of my shareware game heavy hitters. Let's just say my childhood had a lot of Apogee, ID and Epic games.

There's a bunch of non game stuff in here too. Utilities, screensavers, random quirky things like PC speaker music programs where each key of the qwerty keyboard plays a different tone. I've been through these before, looking to see if there is anything rare and not already on the Internet archive, but it seems the vast majority of it already is, even when it's something I've never heard of before.

I did still rip a lot of these (about 95 percent of them still read fine) and I think it may still be interesting one day to share those files as a single downloadable collection, so you could see what random collection of games, screensavers and programs someone might have on their 386 in the mail order disk days.

I just saw the foot cruiser toy online, which was apparently a toy that came out during the 80s/early 90s turtles cartoon. It's essentially the Neutrinos flying Cadillac, but it's been captured by Shredder and repainted and is now used as shredders flying turtle killing machine. But as I was researching it, I didn't find any reference to it ever being in the show (any of them) or other turtles media.

Was this a toy only vehicle or has it appeared in Turtle stories ever? The idea that shredder, bebop and rock steady would fly around in a futuristic purple Cadillac and try to blast the turtles sounds pretty cool to my inner 90s child.
