Both trains will need to be on a schedule that is PERFECTLY timed so that they arrive/leave at the same time to maintain the alignment. Tracks should be above/below each other to make sure the curves are correct. :]

Would it only work for write operations and not read, or vice versa?
Could I take the controller off of one board and solder its connections on to the other so it has a "raid 1" amount of storage?

I've tried looking it up, but the general consensus is that it's not possible because it's soldered on.

Is there a maximum size that you can make a track network?
If there is, what is it?. (10K, 20K, someone said they have a 50K loop in another post)
If there isn't, is there a limit with Minecraft where it just cr4ps out and breaks?. I know there is a limit as to how much data can be in a single chunk/sub-chunk, does it apply do the worlds as well?
