From what I get the "Sodomite" trait can only be had by male characters, if a woman's same sex affair is exposed she gets the "fornicator" or "adulterer" trait (depending on weather or not she is married) and if the religion shuns or criminalises female adultery then she gets penalties regardless of weather or not the religion accepts homosexuality
For instance the Orisa religion is gender equal and accepts homosexuality but adultery is criminal. So in practice lesbian relationships are still essentially a crime even if it doesn't make much sense logically based on doctrines
Maybe there needs to be a female equivilent of the "Sodomite" trait. Also maybe religions should have distinct doctrines for male and female homosexuality
Or even similar to how witchcraft and deviancy can be considered virtuous, the homosexuality doctrine could have a level above accepted where you can have actual same sex marriages or take same sex concubines or something?
Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of a more dynamic/immersive religion system, since I like to generally roleplay in my campaigns and I am also a big nerd with stuff like comperative mythology. But I am also
