How do I build this skill?

I follow this page on twitter and I'm always blown away by their posts and how they're able to make connections with art. I really want to be able to recognize different pieces of art like this and connect it with pop culture. I also saw an interview with the guy that runs this page once and he was able to recognize every single piece of art they showed him off the cuff. Is this a skill anyone can cultivate?

Is 6 months enough to manifest something impossible?

I'm on a time crunch to manifest something by January of next year and my doubts and limiting beliefs are always coming up. I have so much fear that it won't come ti fruition. I have a lot of anxiety whenever I try to persist and my doubts are always in the front of my mind. Is 6 months enough to turn things around in my life completely and can I manifest something impossible within that time?

What's your favorite classic horror film?

I've been watching a lot of classic movies recently and I really want to explore some horror movies. Horror is my favorite genre but I haven't seen many old ones. I've seen quite a few but I want more niche recs or even foreign ones.

Tooth gaps

I've always really loved tooth gaps and thought they were soooo pretty. At a certain point, I was even considering getting tooth gap surgery where they can create a gap between your teeth. In my culture, gaps are considered a sign of beauty. There's something so gorgeous and alluring about it to me and it always elevates a smile. They just make someone look so much better imo. It's one of my favorite features ever.

What would the world look like after the apocalypse ends?

I've been thinking of what the aftermath of curing a zombie outbreak would look like. It may take 5 years or decades, but suppose a cure was found and 99.9% of all zombies were eliminated, would life ever go back to the way it was before? Would the entire fabric of society change for good or would things resemble how they were before? How would people living in this aftermath prepare for the future? Would there be a mental health crisis?

Those of you that have watched movies in imax, is it overrated?

I'm thinking of going to see the odyssey in imax. It's going to be the first time ever and I'm so excited. The thing is, imax tickets are super expensive where I live so I'm going to have to splurge a lot. I'm kinda having second thoughts. For those of you who have seen a movie in imax, was it worth it? Does the experience stand out in your mind? How different is it from watching on a regular screen?

What movie have you checked out due to an actor's top 4?

I remember watching Willem Dafoe's top 4 years ago and he recommended Onibaba. I watched the movie and ended up absolutely loving it. What movies have you watched because of an actor's recommendation?

Anyone else just can't do body horror?

I've seen a lot of horror and yes I still do get scared but I can still handle watching a movie despite that. The only thing I CANNOT do is body horror. There's nothing that grosses me out and scares me more than that. I can tolerate a lot of things in horror movies but just not this. I remember the first time I watched the thing and I feel like I genuinely couldn't comprehend what I was seeing. Even seeing descriptions of body horror grosses me out sooo much. I guess supernatural horror feels more far away which is why I can tolerate it a bit more. But anything with too many fingers or too many limbs or eyes and I just can't handle it. I'll turn off a movie with such quickness. When I saw captain Clark for the first time in the movie, I can't even describe the fear I felt. It was so primal and his expression being so pained didn't help at all. Uncanny Valley hits me harder than anything.

Recommend me something to get me out of a slump

I've been really addicted to my phone and social media lately I find it hard even sitting through movies anymore. I can't even focus without pulling out my phone and doomscrolling. I only watched 7 movies in June and I miss watching movies so much. I really want to get out of this slump. My fave genre is horror and I love older and classic movies too but I'm open to anything. I just want something exciting and quick paced that will keep my attention so I don't feel the urge to scroll.

Edit: editing to add that I've watched most major horror releases over rhe psst 10 years and I've watched most popular older horror movies too. So I'd prefer more niche recs

Zombie outbreak that affects only animals?

I've been wondering how dangerous an outbreak that only affects animals would be like. Theoretically, humans can just kill animals. But if every animal on earth were to die, how would that affect human beings and the planet? Not even just eating but the ecosystem. How much would that decimate human life? Would it cause an entire apocalypse?

Which fictional portrayal of zombies comes closest to what might actually happen irl?

I know there's pretty much a consensus atp that a zombie apocalypse is basically impossible irl. But I've been wondering, what portrayal of zombies is truest to what could possibly happen? Is it the cordyceps from tlou? Walkers? Or corpses just straight up coming alive? What would a real zombie apocalypse look like and how would it even start?

Movies where multiple apocalypse events take place at the same time

I'm looking for movies where there are multiple world ending type events happening at once. For example, a zombie apocalypse happening simultaneously with climate collapse. Or an alien invasion happening within a ghost story. I want multiple massive, disastrous events taking place at the same time. Any recs?

What's the worst place to be in at the start of an apocalypse?

My sister and I have been having a heated debate about this and we have completely opposing views. My sister says that it's best to be in a grocery store or a hospital but I completely disagree. I think it's probably the worst place to be, especially at the start, because there's so much competition over resources. Lots of people's first thought would be to go to a grocery store and take as many supplies as they can. Chaos ensues very easily and quickly. And at a hospital, most sick people who might not even be aware they have a virus would be there and you could also get it very easily. If you're healthy, it might be the worst place to be especially with bodies piling up in a morgue. Imo, the best place to be is probably the wilderness with some sort of radio so you can hear what's happening or just staying home for a week or a month until the first wave of chaos dies down a little bit. Thoughts? Who do you think is right and what do you think the best place to be is?

Fruity fragrances that aren't cloying?

Does anyone have any recs for fruity fragrances that don't feel super overpowering or smell artifical. I want light airy fragrances that aren't overbearingly fruity and are FRESH. Kinda like if you combined orange blossom with fresh laundered clothes. A clean and fruity scent with a little bit of sweetness that lasts all day long. I don't even know if something like this exists but I really want it.

Projects to do to go from beginner to intermediate

I'm a sort of beginner at crochet and I've reached a ceiling. I started about 4 years ago and I haven't really been consistent. I'm in that weird spot where beginner projects are too easy for me and intermediate projects can be a bit too difficult. I can do almost all basic stitches and I can make a lot of basic projects very easily. I want something that will challenge me but is not too advanced. I live in a very hot country so I'd prefer summer appropriate patterns but I don't mind winter patterns either. I'd love any recs you have and any tips on how you improve and get better as well

Is it really possible to manifest the impossible or are some people lying?

I see so many posts of people claiming to have manifested outrageous things. Most of the time it just feels like they're scripting and th3y never provide actual proof. Like on the other sub, you're not even allowed to ask questions or have doubts. I feel like a lot of people are lying to themselves and they don't even want to consider the possibility of having doubts. And sometimes the impossible story is just getting an ex back or being unblocked, which isn't that outlandish. I need stories of impossible manifestation with ACTUAL proof.
