Just picked up this beauty today. My first ever K5. I had to go about 100 miles from my house to pick it up, drove it home no problems. Can’t wait to start digging in.

What up! Just got this little gear trailer and I’m getting all our stuff ready for a 2 week fly fishing camping trip to southern Colorado at the end of July. I’ve never owed a trailer so not very knowledgeable on a few things. The T handle latches need to be replaced. I’m assuming it’s a common part and I can easily replace them right? Thanks for any info.

I’ve got this coolant leak that I’m hoping to get advice on finding. Anyone have the same issue?

Am I the only one that hates the color matched front end on these? Starting the conversion to the standard bumper and grill soon.

I dug out this sprinkler to change the sprinkler head and found the wiring like this.
I added some wire(I know it’s long) and waterproof wire nuts and now I lost a couple zones. Why??

Anyone know how I can trouble shoot this? My gear indicator isn’t working on my cluster. Already changed the IPC/DIC 10a fuse under the hood and the TBC 2C 15a fuse on the driver side dashboard panel.
2005 Silverado 1500 5.3

I’m getting ready to do a big tune up on my 05 5.3 and a new radiator and trans cooler are first up. Is this a good brand? And recommendations? Thanks.

I was gifted these in 2020, I was really into craft beer back then and then life happened. A few kids later and some rearranging of my booze cabinet recently I happened to find them. They’ve just been sitting in there at room temp. Thoughts?

Pretty excited about this 2005 5.3 I just picked up. It’s for 205k miles and runs great.
First thing I’m planning on doing is change EVERY fluid in the truck and adding a new trans cooler with a shift kit and corvette servo, spark plugs after that. What else?
