Hi all, my first embroidery. After seeking your advice (thank you) I decided to purchase a kit. Critical feedback is welcome.

I was sure to purchase the kit from a local small business, they put the kits together themselves and sew there weren’t any instructions - I just did an internet search.

I wanted to do what I now know is called ‘long and short’ stitches for the bee’s body but I didn’t know what to search for. Although, it might be a bit advanced? I can see the backstitches in the ‘bee happy’ are a bit wonky.

Also, this bee is a blue banded bee, a bee native to Australia hence the blue.

Thank you again for your help, everyone. I’m excited for this new hobby.

Is this legal to sell in NSW?

Saw these in a shop but I recently read on a reddit post that they’re illegal to sell in NSW and I’d like some clarity, please. I’ve done a DuckDuckGo search and as far as I can tell they are illegal but maybe this product has some kind of loophole/workaround?

Slush in bottom of bathroom floor drain. Occasionally odorous. Bleach and hot water only quells smell and doesn't appear to dissolve it.

Screw won’t screw into bracket in the wall. Have I made the hole too big?

Hanging curtain brackets and the top screw will not screw into anchor, it goes straight in. What have I done wrong? The first anchor fell into the wall. How can I fix this? Bigger anchor?

Let me know if you need more information.

ADHD tax caught up with me today: hundreds of dollars of fines

So I was on my way to work when I got pulled over. Turns out I was driving an unregistered vehicle!!! I had no idea. Why? Because I forgot to update my address with Services NSW. Therefore the letter got sent to my former address.

So I got fined for driving an unregistered vehicle (AUD$800+), fined for having the wrong address on my license (can’t remember the cost of fine), and I think he said there’s another $800+ fine for something else, maybe driving without a pink slip - I was just so flustered.

I also got a warning or two because my back P plate was missing and for another thing that I don’t remember (I’m just** **so great at remembering details).

I’m supposed to see my psych in August ($600+) but I’m not going to make the appointment. Also, was going to get my hair coloured again. Had the palette all picked out. Ah well.

Guess who just remembered they had bread in the cupboard?

I was reaching for the something in the shelf below when for some reason I looked up. Wow. I forgot you were there!

[TOMT][Travel show][2000s] Travel show with blonde North American female presenter

I very vaguely remember a travel show from the 2000s featuring a (natural) blonde host. From what I remember she was adventurous and got in amongst nature. She documented animals like in one episode she covered birds of paradise on an island somewhere. I’m afraid that’s all I remember.

To be perfectly honest, I bought the plant because I’ve long wanted one, however, I didn’t do any research until it flowered just this week. I think I’m supposed to spritz it every weekish? Anyway, for some strange reason the flower had be bursting with pride.

I bought this lithop because I’ve long wanted one and I needed something to fill this cheese pot. Today I noticed its first flower!

Truth be told I know nothing about lithops and I actually thought it was dying because of the state of the outer layer.

I did some internet searching and it might be that it’s at the end of its shedding season? I’ve never given it water before but I spritz it today as per the advice of two articles.

Feel free to give feedback if you feel the urge.

I just wanted to show it off because for some bizarre reason this tiny flower has me beaming with pride. 🌼🥲
